"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.

Re: Christian videos - have you seen The Chosen? Actually it’s a series that is in its 2nd season, and there are ambitious plans for many more. The opener to Season 2 was masterfully done and quite moving, even if you haven’t seen Season 1. Yep - well that’s your opinion. Mine is that you are wrong, and if a national Id is implemented we will all eventually regret it, but what the hay. Who the heck cares.

I don’t plan to fly either, the only exception might be for medical care — I flew to Tampa in 2015 for surgery. Probably won’t ever have to do anything like that again, but who knows?
(seriously, 3 day event may mean we can’t communicate..and heaven help those without cell phones?)

I am NOT in favor of national IDs. You should, however, have to show an ID issued by the state you are registered in which matches the address in the polling place register.
I was thinking along the lines of the Georgia “Real ID” driver’s license. If you don’t want or aren’t able to drive, I am sure the state would be willing to issue you a voter ID card based on the same identity requirements at no charge to you.

I feel the same way. And if I understood what I read correctly, in Missouri, anyone who wanted it could get the real id—whether they drove or not—through the DMV with the various documents required to be presented which included a birth certificate.
We have to show an Id to vote—been that way for quite a few years.

Reposting my reply in a discussion about this:
A few months ago I did research into sanctuary states, or ones with sanctuary cities/counties, states that allow illegals to get drivers licenses, and states with motor voter laws. Oregon is such a state. Stuffed with illegals, and anyone getting a DL is automatically given voter registration, and now it’s online and no documents must be presented. A number of others states are just as bad. So, countless illegals have DL and are registered to vote.
Thus, showing a DL is not sufficient. If India can have national voter ID cards, surely the US can do it. Such a card will prevent illegals or non-citizens from voting, plus people voting in places they don’t legally reside, etc.
One of the great things about having an address is NH soon will be I’ll be able to get ammo shipped there. :D
