The UK has reported another 55 cases of the ‘double mutant’ Covid-19 variant, first detected in India, while Belgium tracked down its first cases of the strain that scientists fear could be more resistant to vaccines. The latest figure, reported by Public Health England on Thursday, puts the total number of B.1.617 Covid-19 strain cases in the UK to 132, an increase from 77 reported a week ago.
Earlier this week, the UK added India to its travel ‘red list’ over the new coronavirus strain, which Health Secretary Matt Hancock described “a variant of concern.”

With natural immunity and traditional inactive virus immunizations the body essentially takes a ginsu to the virus and slices and dices it up into hundreds of parts. Immunity is developed against those parts. With this mRNA thing the eggheads picked a portion of the virus they thought would not change much and you develop immunity against that small part.

What they don’t tell you is the 55 infected persons had a severely compromised immune system to begin with and would have likely died from a simple infection from a cut finger. How can anybody believe any of this crap from any government?

I’m a COVID doctor and I don’t intend to discuss “it’s not real” or any variations of that.
But I DO want to discuss why the “it’s not real” people are opposed to the border closures which would have ended this a year ago.
There is NO REASON for passenger aircraft to be departing Brazil OR India under these circumstances. Even if I’m wrong, and the conspiracy theory people are right about whether SARS CoV 2 exists, how bad the illness it causes is, or any of that, WE DO NOT OWE THE ENORMOUS, WOULD BE REFUGEE MOB from those countries a thing.
We have enough COVID trouble in the 50 states. Things are improving.
If even a middle of the road theory of COVID is correct (”just a bad flu”), WHY WHY WHY are we about to take in anyone with airfare (and, I have no doubt, “rescue” flights will be starting soon).
If COVID is such small potatoes, let them prove it on the ground in Brazil and India. If, OTOH, RNA virus evolution works the way I know it does, we should immediately close our borders, ban overseas arrivals at US airports, and even use the Navy to divert or destroy aircraft arriving from those places.
Let them go to Canada, the first post-nationality nation.
