LAS VEGAS - An 18-year-old woman in Nevada who suffered seizures after receiving the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine has received three brain surgeries related to blood clots, a spokesperson for her family said.
Emma Burkey began feeling sick about a week after receiving the one-dose vaccine early this month, spokesman Bret Johnson said. She was one of six women in the U.S. and the only reported resident in Clark County, which includes Las Vegas, who experienced a serious clotting side effect. One person died.
Burkey was taken out of an induced coma and off a respirator, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.
A panel with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Burkey and other women experienced headaches and back pain prior to the discovery of blood clots, KVVU-TV reported.

Thank you. I’m not anti vaxxer at all. I was revaxed after my bone marrow transplant with every vaccine a child gets these days. I even was part of a clinical trial for a (approved) cmv vaccine. But trying it on BMT patients.
But I will not get this one.
When ‘extremely rare!’ = ‘Mostly peaceful!’.
This is the same case which has been repeatedly posted.
She is one of six such fatal cases in the USA (all women), out of 7,993,255 J&J doses given.
The rate at which this is seen to occur after the J&J shot, is about the same as the other COVID vaccines - which is less than the population average.
The reason is likely that the vaccines have been disproportionally given to older people, whereas these CVST blood clots are mostly seen in women of child-bearing age, as a known side effect of estrogen-based birth control drugs.
It is also seen in post-menopausal women, as a known side effect of estrogen Hormone Replacement Therapy, but that is a much smaller market than birth control drugs.
Statistically, there is no higher risk of these blood clots with the vaccine, than there is without it (if you control for age and gender). That is why the European Medicines Agency cleared AstraZeneca’s vaccine in Europe, after similar concerns were raised.
It appears to be pure coincidence, like taking the vaccine, and a week later having a car crash, or hitting the lottery.
The test lab rat is lucky that the blood clots are “extremely rare”...

The projection of fear porn onto people who do not want the cv19vx is amusing, given that we have had wall-to-wall fear porn from public health authorities for almost 16 months.
I am anxiously awaiting the public health PSA’s advising everyone to optimize vitamin D blood levels and take a daily zinc supplement.

But, but, but, how many teens would have had seizures and blood clots anyway? How can you blame St Fauci’s life-saving jab juice? The poor kid only had a 99.9995% chance of recovering from covid, which he was unlikely to catch anyway. A small price to pay for an illusion of “safety”. The country has lost its ever loving mind.

With a illness that is just about 1% fatal-and that is in the elderly in rest homes, We will fight it our way.

I don’t disagree but I have a 19 year old desperate to get back to normal. A shot so he can attend school, go to a baseball game or concert...I’m struggling hard here trying to educate him. He is just a kid who wants to be a kid.
My second Moderna shot was like a two day flu. I definitely didn’t get the placebo. I wonder if there is a connection to birth control pills. The combination of recent start of BCP, smoking, being obese and sedentary is a common cause of pulmonary embolism. BCP‘s in a smoker along with transatlantic flights can be deadly. BCP’s also have a link to breast cancer that is kept on the down-low.
It seems like a lot of ill effects occur in young women on birth control and older women on hormone replacement therapy. It seems like artificial hormones have a bad reaction to the vaccines.
Maybe women should be told to get off of these therapies before being vaccinated. But whenever the government rolls out a big program like this it’s supposed to be “one size fits all.”
