"What AG Bill Barr said to a US attorney who shared plans for a Florida election fraud probe with GOP rep"
Daily Mail ^ | 4/21/2021 | Nikki Schwab

Rep. Matt Gaetz was a central figure in Justice Department drama last year, when he told President Donald Trump about a plan that would open the door for a state-wide voter fraud investigation in his home state of Florida.

Politico reported Tuesday that Attorney General Bill Barr threatened U.S. Attorney Larry Keefe after Keefe told Gaetz about a legal theory that would green-light such a probe - and then Gaetz repeated it to Trump.

'If I ever hear of you talking to Gaetz or any other congressman again about business before the department, I am going to f***ing fire your ass,' Barr reportedly told Keefe.

Would you be prone to undermining your boss at the behest of the Deep State?

Yep, that is how I see this. A boss is just telling a subordinate to stay in his lane.

If Trump had won, the Rats were prepared to dispute Florida, and all the other states, basically they would have done the exact same thing Trump did. And the Press would have cheered them on.

The polls were close in FL. This was before the Election. They wanted US attorneys to investigate voter fraud in all states after the Election.

From Politico. “Reportedly said”.

That’s enough for me.

The AG of Ruby Ridge.

And afterwards he gave pro-bono legal support to Lon Hourchi.

Rudy was washed up and a sous in 2012. He ran for President but didn’t campaign in any State until the Florida primary. His goal was to keep his name up top for a job. He screwed the pooch on the strategy to get Trump elected after the fix was in also. Once a seemingly great man, he is now a nothing but disgraced.

"Deep State stalling sack ‘o’ s**t."

Don't worry, Free Republic rules allow you to clearly spell that out -- it's: Deep State stalling sack o' Adam Schiff.
Nothing smellier! ;-)

"What’s the problem? There is a chain of command for a reason."

AG Barr was sold to us as a man of integrity who would put right what went wrong under his predecessor, Sessions.
And in the beginning that seemed to be the case -- Mueller put Russia-Russia-Russia to rest -- but then, as time went on... what happened to the Durham Report?
Why were there no prosecutions of corrupt officials?
Most important: why did Barr turn a blind eye to the 2020 election?

Posters on this thread say Barr was deep-state from way back -- was he?
But maybe Barr was also the best Trump could hope for?

None of it makes sense, unless... unless... a wildly improbable future scenario where Trump-reformed Republicans take majorities in 2022 and Trump himself wins a landslide in 2024.
I can see it, can almost taste it, but how likely is it?

And if it happens, then suddenly everything here makes sense.

When Barr was first appointed, my cousin, who I often speak politics with, was excited. He sincerely believed that Barr was the "real deal" and was going to go after the cabal responsible for the Russia Hoax and other crimes against Trump. I laughed when he said that - I told him forget it - lifetime Republican career bureaucrats in high level positions always protect their fellow bureaucrats, regardless of political affiliation. My cousin scoffed at me. I finished the conversation by asking him if he knew who gave Jeffrey Epstein his first teaching job. It was Barr's father.

These people go to the same schools, they party with each other, their wives hang out together and their children do too. The Deep State is one, big happy, incestuous family.

Trump was stuck with whats in DC.

The DC “lifers” run the bureaucracy. They set the schedules, answer the phones, RELAY THE MESSAGES, control what “the boss” sees and who he/she talks to.

The bureaucracy hated Trump...and all MAGA..and answer only to those that expand the breadth and scope of Federal power-which provides upward mobility through bureaucracy as it expands

Barr also blamed Trump for January 6th and had gone to the AP to say there wasn’t enough voter fraud to investigate.

Mark Levin is great, but he was fooled by Barr. He still praised him when he was fired.

*****************************

Mark Levin screamed with hatred for Trump from the moment he came down the escalator. Levin did everything he could to keep Trump from being elected in 2016 with his extremely annoying, screeching tone. I’ll never, ever forgive him.
