Reagan High School teacher charged with assault at bar in Boerne, NEISD confirms

BOERNE, Texas – A woman arrested for an alleged assault at a Boerne bar over the weekend is a teacher at Reagan High School, officials with North East Independent School District (NEISD) have confirmed to KSAT.

Christy Slavinsky, 48, was arrested Saturday night and is facing two misdemeanor assault charges, according to Kendall County arrest records.

The woman told the deputy that Slavinsky grabbed her by the hair and neck, scratched her and threw her to the ground. She showed the deputy a clump of hair that had been torn from her scalp.

I guess, for the mugshot, she did not have makeup on her face...There is a picture of her showing her middle finger at the bar...

She attended some religious retreat in 2013...

I think there is only one Ronald Reagan High School in United States...There are two Wilson high schools in Los Angeles County...There is even one high school named after Herbert Hoover...

NEISD is the same district that got their panties in a bunch some years ago over one of their other high schools.

My public school education was with the NEISD.
In the 60s & 70s the school district was easily one
of the most recognized academically inside the state
of Texas. I dont know how it is now.

I graduated from Douglas MacArthur H.S. At the time
all the high schools inside the district were MacArthur, Winston Churchill, Theodore Roosevelt, and Robt E Lee.

Just a few years ago before the uproar started about Confederate named schools, streets, etc., the NEISD despite alumni opposition, took it upon itself to rename Lee High School to LEE High School -— “Legacy of Educational Excellence High School.”

I’m betting it wont be too many years before the district gets enough of the locals to change Reagan H.S. to another name. The demographics are already changing.

I actually have been to Boerne, TX. Many, many years ago.

And this woman, well she makes my high school teachers seem like they were SO boring! I don’t recall any of them every being arrested for bar fights!
