A North Carolina man was killed by police who had been called to search his property early Wednesday morning, police said.
The man, identified by relatives as Andrew Brown, 40, was driving away from officers in Elizabeth City when they shot him around 8:30 a.m., according to police and local TV station WAVY.
“During the execution of the search warrant, a citizen who was subject to the search warrant was shot and fatally wounded,” the Pasquotank County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement.

this wasn’t a trial- it was a public lynching which was confirmed by jurors scared out of their minds-
Just speculating, but how about this?
Let’s say (for no particular reason except plausibility): the warrant was for his laptop or cell (for illicit activity that might have been on it, maybe involving a ring of perps). When he saw cops coming, he grabs the laptop, has his cell already on him, and hauls ass.
I don’t think that’s a reason to shoot; but it sure would be a reason for the guy to scoot.
Either we’re missing some key facts or that officer had no business on the force.
It can’t be a black family living in that low-end house. According to TV ads, all blacks live in upscale neighborhoods and drive high-end cars.
Again, this should just be a local story.

Local is now World Wide with Internet and all the new
gadgets. Local is hard to confine in today’s world.
What about his dog?
The question is, who is deciding which stories are "National"?
Chances are better than confronting them as mad max suggests.
Effing morons. Let him drive away. Catch him later.
There have only been media reports and they look sketchy and incomplete at this point.
99% of the time, the initial reports, media, edited video always show the police in a bad light...and 98& of the time those initial reports and edited videos prove to be wrong and misleading.
The Floyd..Chauvin case was the exception.
Mick Jagger: Every cop is a criminal, and all the sinners saints.
But these events are no longer about "location, location, location" anyway...
...now it's all about keeping with the "narrative, narrative, narrative" to push an "agenda, agenda, agenda".
I think most police naturally dislike crotch-rocket operators. Not sure if your non-Harley fits that bill, but I the hordes of wheely-popping, 140mph driving operators have put a target on many a back.
Some time ago, on twitter, I read someone had theorized that antifa had infiltrated the police depts and was behind much of these kinds of events.
The question is, who is deciding which stories are “National”?

The people with money/agendas to push.
