New York, NY — The ever-woke NFL has released a statement following the guilty verdict of Derek Chauvin, the officer that is now convicted of murdering George Floyd. The NFL has continued its woke pandering for several years, but this statement is as ridiculous as Nancy Pelosi celebrating Floyd “sacrificing his life.”
In their statement, the NFL said the verdict does not take away the pain of the loss of life and to that, I can agree. The continuation of their statement talking about hope and moving society toward a more equal and just tomorrow is what is ridiculous.
The NFL commissioner Roger Goodell had previously sent a memo to all teams outlining the league’s commitment to “social justice.” He highlighted several measures the league had taken to appear woke enough for the radicals so that they would not call for boycotts and accuse the league of racism of their own. He said, “Our commitment to the pillars of our social justice efforts are unwavering and our work continues together – with our partners, the clubs and players throughout the NFL.”
Everyone seems to forget that George Floyd was a known criminal. He had been accused of passing a counterfeit bill and the officers attempting to arrest him were caught in a struggle. Floyd was not a martyr, not a person fighting for justice, and should not be celebrated for what he has done.
These woke radicals want to ignore the fact that death and destruction occurred last summer amid the riots following Floyd’s death. Even President Joe Biden ignored that in his comments on the issues.
President Biden said that Floyd’s death was an example of systemic racism. There are many contributing factors to the death of George Floyd. Do I think the hold from the officer contributed? It most likely did. Do I also think the drugs in Floyd’s system contributed? Absolutely, they did. Does that mean I believe the officer should not face charges? Not in the least.
But that’s not what we are talking about here. This is about a woke sports organization that is committed to promoting a radical political agenda. A sports organization that should be focused on delivering a product that Americans can enjoy free from propaganda and manipulation. Instead, the organization has chosen to play the political games of the radicals.
While it is tragic that Floyd died, the sentencing and subsequent labeling of all police officers as systemic racists is not a vision of hope. It is a vision of moral decline and a society that is quickly spiraling down a path towards utter chaos. That’s exactly what the Marxists want. They want utter chaos so that the government can step in with full control over the people.
For me, I am done with the woke sports organizations. At a time when Americans need something that is free from the propaganda, they continue to bow down to the radical agenda and the Marxists that threaten them. It is time we focus on the real issues in our country.

That is FANTASTIC news! I look forward to the NFL and NBA having no more than 12% black players in their upcoming seasons. Nothing will beat having more equal and just sports leagues.

Watching or attending ‘woke’ sports is supporting people who hate you and want you dead, if you supported President Trump.
I can’t boycott the NFL like I could starting this year re MLB and Coke. Re the NFL, it’s hard to spend less than zero.
Who knew Floyd was in the NBA? Betcha he never purchased a ticket. Once again, a business that isn’t focused on the business. How about they just dribble the ball and not their mouths.
The most disappointing part of all the covid and woke sports is the conformity of conservatives to it. I used to think that leftist’s would never be able to collect guns in red states, not so sure now.

I’ve managed various businesses for years. Why would you feel the urge to come out and say things that anyone in their right mind knows will piss off even 25% of your customers, or maybe half of them.
It has nothing to do with their business plan, the only possible outcome is that you lose business from not keeping your mouth shut.
There is no upside to such a statement.

I don’t care if they do or don’t. I don’t care about pro sports. There are much better ways to spend your time than watching a bunch of self-centered, entitled prima donnas chase balls around on a field.
Try getting a loan with a business plan that’s focused on chasing away customers.
