I grew 'Brad's Atomic Grape' last year. It was OK, but it wasn't that much of a producer. Sure was interesting, though!
We’ve been getting an unusual amount of rain so far this month but it’s good for the plants. Tourists, for the most part, can’t come anyway so it’s not as bad as if there was no lockdown.
Should we cover our perennial flower gardens in the evening before it frosts this week?

I grow ‘Topaz Jewel’ and it is the prickliest thing EVER, but man the FRAGRANCE is heavenly! The rabbits didn’t chew on that one at all! ;)
My roses (first season planted in a special bed Beau constructed for me) survived winter well - looks like I only lost one of the 15 I added.

Tell us what you have that you’re concerned about. Most Perennials are tough as nails. They might get a little nipped around the edges by the frost, but there’s still plenty of growing season to recover.
I’ve had it SNOW on perennials with no problems. This time of year, even if we get some cold nights and/or snow, the next day or so it’s all gone, anyway.
We have had unending rain however I did manage to plant several 5 gallon buckets with sugar snap peas including DIY trellis. They were planted April 2nd and are coming up now here in Upstate New York

Too much rain this year.
That’s a relief. We turned our ingrown pool into a flower garden. It looks like most survived the winter,out. I didn’t want the 29-degree weather to take them out.
I haven't seen some of my family in over a year so it's really exciting to have them visit and I've been working on my garden for months to get it ready for their visit.
The photo doesn't do the petunias justice, they are spectacular. I think they're called "Starry Night" like the Van Gough painting. Got them at Lowe's this year.
