FORMER Vice President Mike Pence underwent surgery to have a pacemaker implanted on Wednesday after experiencing "symptoms with a slow heart rate" over the last two weeks.
The 61-year-old underwent the procedure at a Virginia hospital yesterday and is now recovering, his office said in a statement.

serious stuff. almost did in my buddy don. they employees brought him back with compressions on the floor at register 1 where he collapsed. ems brought him back again on their way to the hospital. they put in a pacemaker and last i heard he was doing fine. sheesh it’s been 10 years. i had never heard of lbbb before. interruption of electrical signals iirc.

LBBB is the real deal, and surprised Pence's doctors waited this long to implant the passive pacemaker. RBBB, which I have, is far more benign but you have to keep an eye on it. Can't take anything that might prolong the QT interval, like HCQ.

Of course you’re being facetious, because the obvious answer to your question is that no one can predict the duration of an exile, although in this case it would be reasonable to say it would not extend beyond the final day of the 2020 Presidential term.
