“The routine surgery was successful, and he is expected to fully recover and return to normal activity in the coming days,” the statement read.

In a comment of his own, Pence added: “I am grateful for the swift professionalism and care of the outstanding doctors, nurses and staff at Inova Heart and Vascular Institute, including Dr. Brett Atwater and Dr. Behnam Tehrani,’ Pence said in the statement.

“I also appreciate the consultation of my longtime Indiana physicians, Dr. Michael Busk and Dr. Charles Taliercio at Ascension St. Vincent.”

Pence added that his family “has been truly blessed by the work of these dedicated healthcare professionals.”

When he assumed the Vice Presidency in 2016, Pence disclosed that he had a history of “asymptomatic left bundle branch block.”

A left bundle branch block is typically a sign of heart disease, but can also be seen in asymptomatic patients with a structurally normal heart. The condition can lead to heart failure.

What was described as a “routine procedure”, Pence underwent the surgery at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Falls Church, Virginia - near to where he and former second lady Karen Pence settled down after leaving DC.

If Mike Pence gains any attraction if/when he runs for POTUS, the liberal media will eat him alive over this medical condition....

It won’t matter if the problem is serious or not, after everything that was rightfully said about Biden’s dementia, the media will be relentless...

“Can they add a backbone while they are in there ?”

Nope. GOPe types reject it, no drug to make it take.

"symptoms with a slow heart rate"

For this treasonous cabal follower, I've got a notion that it was at 0 .

Not much any pacemaker can do for that.

My resting heart rate is about 48. I guess I never realized that could be problematic?

What is normal all depends on you. While 48 bpm is pretty low, if you don’t have shortness of breath or dizziness with vigorous exercise, you should be fine.

If your doctor is aware of your slow heart rate, I wouldn’t worry about it. If not, I would get it checked out, just to be safe.
