An 82-year-old grandmother has been fined £60 for attending a seven-person lockdown-breaching 70th birthday bash — even though every person there was fully vaccinated.
Maureen Hogg, from Eaglesham, East Renfrewshire, was given the notice for antisocial behavior after police broke up the celebration.
All seven attendees received a fine for £60, even though each one of them had both doses of the COVID-19 jab.
Ms. Hogg’s granddaughter Daisy Hogg, 17, said her grandmother questioned “why she needs to shield if she has the vaccine”.
Scotland’s current lockdown rules say gatherings of up to four people can only happen outside.
Indoor gatherings are banned even if every attendee is fully protected from COVID-19 with two doses of the vaccine. …

Why get the jab if u can’t go back to normal life?
As crazy as things seem in the US, the other English speaking countries have us beat in that department by a mile. What is wrong with these people?
Federalism makes it so that some degree of common sense has a chance, or is at least harder to squish.
It also helps that many areas of the U.S. (and even more so of Canada) are too sparsely populated to govern. If you don’t like conforming to urban norms, it is possible to get far, far, far away from a city in a way that most Europeans can’t even conceive.
This ties with the wearing of masks in restaurants between bites as top stories that are not real, but put out by Chinese cyber spies to test what percentage of people will believe they are actually happening.

Seems more to me that’s happening in states with heavy left-wing Democratic or RINO sway. Not happening in states such as Texas or Florida.

I lived there. I was disgusted at what was going on politically and socially...especially with the growing hatred of Christians.
Moved back stateside...and saw it trickling in here. Especially with the media.
Warned people they were about 15-20 years ahead of us. That was 2000. And here we are.
Send them all to the Ministry of Love for reprogramming.
I guess a neighbor turned them in. They’ve done that before.
Real about a lot of nasty stuff coming from them.
It’s more important, at 82, to see your friends and family than to stay alive a few more months without seeing them.
It has always been about CONTROL.
