A few friends have asked my thoughts on the covid jab(s) so I thought it was time to write an article on the topic.
All my friends had not heard most of the details I shared, so I figured you might appreciate hearing some of what I told them.
Knowing how contentious this issue is, part of me would rather just write about something else, but I feel like the discussion/news is so one-sided that I should speak up.
As I always strive to do, I promise to do my best to be level-headed and non-hysterical.
I'm not here to pick a fight with anyone, just to walk you through some of what I've read, my lingering questions, and explain why I can't make sense of these covid vaccines.

#1: VACCINE MAKERS ARE IMMUNE FROM LIABILITY
The only industry in the world that bears no liability for injuries or deaths resulting from their products, are vaccine makers.
First established in 1986 with the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act, and reinforced by the PREP Act, vaccine makers cannot be sued, even if they are shown to be negligent.
The covid-vaccine makers are allowed to create a one-size-fits-all product, with no testing on sub-populations (i.e. people with specific health conditions), and yet they are unwilling to accept any responsibility for any adverse events or deaths their products cause.
If a company is not willing to stand behind their product as safe, especially one they rushed to market and skipped animal trials on, I am not willing to take a chance on their product.
No liability. No trust.

Absence of liability for the vaccine manufacturers and unknown potential long-term side effects are valid points to take into account. However, I consider Covid-19 virus to be not a naturally evolved one, but a man-made bioweapon. Close proximity of spike protein (high affinity for human ACE2 receptor) and furin site in the viral RNA (something that’s not found in any other coronavirus) allows better penetration of the virus to human cells and makes it potentially dangerous for certain individuals. While it’s impossible to predict who is going to be hit hard with COvid-19 virus, it would seem that a vaccine (anything that produces working antibodies) is the best weapon against it.
I think the arguments around what constitutes a vaccine is counter-productive, as we should be looking for anything that makes working antibodies, be it mRNA- or live/killed adenoviruses-based.
As always with any pharmaceutical agent, there is a balance between potential benefits and potential problems that may occur.

My wife had a horrible reaction to the Pfizer vaccine............
She didn’t even get vaccinated.......I did, and a few weeks later the maid got pregnant and said it was mine!
Needless to say, that vaccine affected my DNA......and the maid’s.
I hope my wife recovers from her adverse reaction though.

“Vaxhole”, very good! And the word “preen” is always excellent.
My #1 reason is that there are safe OTC prophylactic treatments readily available. These same treatments will minimize effects if someone happens to get sick by what I call the “China bioweapon.” #1A is that the efficacy of these treatments has been deliberately suppressed by leftist media organizations. #1B is that the same people and organizations that suppressed this life-saving information are the same ones promoting vaccines.

Excellent. One more: the only reason they were approved for emergency use is that they never tested the recommended protocol with HCQ or Invermectin.
Not a single study concluding that “there was no effective treatment” followed protocol! The only people who tested potential treatments were successful and censored.
I don't know why you would assume that. In fact, the evidence we've seen to date would indicate that you are flat-out wrong about that.
See #5 in Post 18. There are plenty of A-holes at all levels of government who would keep moving the goalposts and would insist on keeping America locked down even if every single American is vaccinated.

Rule by Executive Decree will promulgate Regime’s new law, subject to change daily or hourly - sometimes even faster.
If the Decree says you need the proper papers and “vaccine” passport, well then you better have them or ... there may be bars and rubber hoses in your future.

As noted prior, COVID-19 threads have a significant signal to noise ratio.
There’s enough sourced information out there for each person to make a data informed decision.
But at the end of the day, it is each person’s decision. And FReepers need to accept that.
Some of the worst offending issues are 1) mask wearing and 2) vaccines.
Good grief, people. Don’t get so wrapped around the axle that others don’t see COVID-19 issues the same as you or don’t make the same decisions as you.
Unfortunately, there are FReepers on both sides that seem to not only disagree with the “other sides” but also antagonize and make the issues personal with insults and threats. A flame war erupts, rendering the thread essentially useless.
Provide references for your positions and argue as politely as possible.
That’s all you can do.
Help keep you from dying if you do contract the virus.
