Prince Philip, who died on Friday, April 9, at the age of 99-years-old, will be laid to rest on Saturday, April 17th, in a private ceremony in accordance with his wishes.
The Daily Wire reported, “Buckingham Palace announced Philip’s death on Friday. The elderly prince has had a host of health problems and had surgery on his heart last month.”
“It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen announces the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle,” a message posted to the royal family’s website says. “Further announcements will be made in due course. The Royal Family join with people around the world in mourning his loss.”
According to NBC News, a spokesman for Buckingham Palace said that the funeral will take place in St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.
“The royal family hoped the coming days would be seen as a chance to celebrate the Duke of Edinburgh’s ‘remarkable life,’ the spokesman said, adding that the COVID-19 pandemic ‘has of course required us to make significant adaptations to the original arrangements for His Royal Highness’s funeral,’” NBC News reported.

My folks have been married 67 years, so I have some idea what it would mean for one to lose the other. For the Queen, it’s 73 years of marriage - my sympathies are sincerely with her.
Once the Royals get their hands on Harry, Megan will never see him again! Possible.
Next will come the expose from attention whore Meghan that she was told not to show up - whether it’s true or not.

She is not going because she is 7 months pregnant. But I’m glad she’s not going. She’d put a damper on celebrating Prince Philip’s life.

That thought zipped thru my beady little mind, too. But I quickly brushed it aside. Can we just accept that the guy is in love with her? There’s no accounting for taste, love is blind, etc. OTOH, she’s not bad looking, and I think she appears to enjoy sex; with one little ankle biter in the nursery and another in the oven....maybe it’ll work out. I say let them grift their way along and maybe they’ll make it. After all; look at Harry’s Dad. He dumped Dianna for that old number he’s with now, and seems to be happy. Let’s face it; Not everybody is as smart and wise as you and me.

It’s much too risky to fly in a private jet and take a private care to a castle where you can only be separated from people by a few hundred yards.
