Used ivermectin to treat my horses all the time when I had them. All you had to do was to spin the ring on the injector to the approximate horse weight and squirt it in the back of their mouth. It was usually apple flavored, so yum for the horse.
The proper dose is 12 mg per day for five days. It is an imperfect remedy by a mile and not a miraculous cure. However if people choose to use it I would like them to know the proper dose.
