For many of us who have had ties to the scientific standards and procedures connected to recording fatalities there has been a serious sense of doubt about the numbers of Covid 19 deaths reported by the media, courtesy of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The numbers have appeared to be somewhere between marginally overstated and grossly exaggerated. Finally, these instincts have been supported by a peer-reviewed scientific paper.
On October 12 of last year, a 25-page paper in Science, Public Health Policy and The Law was released that explained, in detail, the foundational reason for the publicly announced fatality numbers and the mechanism by which they were derived. This paper, authored by ten members of the scientific community is titled “Covid-19 Data Collection, Comorbidity & Federal Law: A Historical Perspective.” At the heart of the issue is the CDC and its methods for collecting and reporting the data, a model which was changed radically in the face of the current crisis.
In 2003, the CDC authored and released guidance documents used by the forensic community titled Medical Examiners’ and Coroners’ Handbook on Death Registration and Fetal Death Reporting along with “Physicians’ Handbook on Medical Certification of Death.” These have been the standard for the certification of fatalities, nationwide, for seventeen years. However, in March of 2020 things changed.
The National Center for Health Statistics released Covid-19 Alert No. 2 which changed the way deaths with connections to Covid 19 were reported and tabulated. The revealing line in the alert is in the last paragraph: “Covid-19 should be reported on the death certificates for all decedents where the disease caused or is assumed to have caused or contributed to death.” [emphasis added] This changed the parameters for the inclusion of deaths from Covid, raising the numbers substantially.

There was probably a leftist plan in place waiting for something that could be classified as a pandemic to grab control of this weakened Constitutional Republic.
From the article:
“...or is assumed to have caused or contributed to death...”
When was the last time (previous to the wuhanvirus) this phrase was used?
If it wasn’t used before, then that speaks volumes.

Not only to weaken the US, but also any freedom movement in the various countries, such as France (yellow vest), Hong Kong (US flag demonstration), among others.

March 2020. How convenient.

Any time someone uses the PHONY AS A THREE DOLLAR BILL official COVID death statistics, I view them them as either WICKED LIARS AND DECEIVERS or dumber than a box of rocks.
COVID was a sh*t show from the beginning. It was weaponized politically and worked beyond the leftist, Trump haters and globalists dreams.

The actual number of deaths in the United States from Wuhan Flu is 35,000. with how many dying from the vaccine?
Um... in other words, the routine protocols for reporting deaths are suddenly suspect because some people want to claim that Covid-19 deaths are not really Covid-19 deaths? In cases where several factors result in death, it is routine to list the contributing factors.
There was a 23% increase in deaths in 2020 due to the pandemic. Those excess deaths are real. Since it is statistically impossible for deaths to spontaneously jump 23%, they are, in fact, due to Covid-19. Or, to put it another way, if the statisticians at the CDC, WHO, Eurosurveillance, etc., had noticed a 23% jump in deaths over the previous year and they did not know about Covid-19, they would be looking for a reason why deaths are so high.
FYI, someone who has diabetes, heart disease, obesity, etc., and who catches Covid-19 and dies is NOT dying from their chronic condition, but from Covid-19. Their condition makes it more likely to die, but is NOT the proximate cause of death.
Covid-19 is now right behind heart disease and cancer as a leading cause of death.
When was the last time (previous to the wuhanvirus) this phrase was used?
This is typical death reporting. Don't get the idea that there is anything unusual about this terminology just because some non-scientist, non-medical blogger tells you it's unusual.
Where Kodak at?
You have been accepting of CDC numbers.
This paper shows how they were inflated by changing the method of reporting in March of 2020.
Perhaps you can rebut the paper.
It shows, very clearly, the change in CDC reporting procedure in March of 2020, specifically for Covid 19.
The CDC changed the "routine protocols" according to the paper.
Rebut their claims, please. The claims are very specific.
The actual number of deaths from Covid-19 as of this morning is 560,127.
For comparison, the number of people who died from heart disease in 2019 was 659,041 and from cancer was 599,601. As of right now, Covid-19 is a close third leading cause of death.
According to the CDC: Total predicted number of excess deaths since 2/1/2020 across the United States: 549,810 - 668,473. These excess deaths did not appear spontaneously or randomly—they are due to Covid-19. It is statistically impossible for the death rate to jump that high above normal without a cause.

BTW, no one is dying from the vaccine. When I got the vaccine on Tuesday and my husband on Thursday at the Alamodome, we saw paramedics standing by just in case someone had a reaction, and they were still standing by when we left. Hundreds of people were getting vaccinated at the same time—if the vaccine were as dangerous as anti-vax conmen would have you believe, don’t you think the paramedics would have actually been busy treating people for their vaccine reactions?

There absolutely was. There has been a lot of attention paid to the Spanish Flu outbreak of 1918-20 over the last decade. Add in the SARS & MERS outbreaks and all the attempts to inflate those into a modern pandemic (and in the case of the MERS outbreak, Obama arguably under-reacted to that). So yeah, the guns were laid, and the stage was set.
I think the dimension that the earlier corona virus outbreaks lacked was the political (Democrat governors) and the Media egging it all on. I don’t thing COVID-19 was a planned out conspiracy in all it’s detail, rather it was a case of carefully feeding the public panic level and grabbing tyrannical power each time it reached a near boil. I hold Dr. Fauci personally responsible for this and if there is any justice this guy should get an investigation as pleasant as a colonoscopy without the sedative.
I also like to use the excess deaths. But that includes people who died as a result of the counter-measures to Covid-19, and not just the deaths directly due to Covid-19.
Most of the people who contract Covid-19 survive. It’s therefore not unreasonable to think that many of the people who died were killed by their comorbidities and not Covid-19.
