Officials have refused to identify the white security guard who was not charged in the fatal shooting of the unarmed female black military veteran. Civil unrest was widespread due to this racist act and lack of police response. Widespread protests led to stores being looted and fires being set in many businesses.
Oops, sorry...Correction: The unnamed ‘Security Guard’ was black, and the ‘victim’ veteran (Ashli Babbitt) was white...There were no widespread protests, no stores were lit on fire, and no looting occurred.
