Curious if there are many FReeper beekeepers. If I get a decent response, I would like to start a weekly beekeeping Ping list.

In order to make this list successful, participation on everyone's part is vital.

Waiting on UPS to deliver package this afternoon. Beekeeper since 1974. I am in, and tired of buying new bees just about every yr.

As a Beekeeper for 20+ years, I lost and then lost and then lost again my colonies. The cause was attributed to mites.

Many and probably most bee keepers in East Tennessee had the same problem. Based on the fact there have been no bees in my yard white clover, the bee keepers near by still don’t exist

I have not had any bees in about 30 years.

I would like to be on the list to learn of the current state of bee keeping.

My husband and I are beekeepers. We keep approximately 80 hives and sell our honey at the local farmers market. You can add me to your list.

I had great luck with the volunteer fire departments.

I printed up some colored flyers and distributed to the fire departments

“In case of a bee swarm call bert.......he’ll come capture it.”

They put it on the wall during swarm season and actually do have the person call you to come have a look

I had pretty good luck even though some swarms were beyond my capacity

I would like to learn how. I need a hobby, and I love bees and honey! I need a how-to on everything. A ping list would help.

I’ve never been a “Bee Keeper” per say, but I worked for a guy that was when I was young.

We collected and extracted about 3-4 tons of raw honey each year.

I don’t remember how many hives he had, but it was a bunch.

It was just one of his many part-time jobs.
