The list includes 2,755 billionaires — 660 more than last year, including 493 people who are new to the list. The No. 1 spot went to Jeff Bezos, whom Forbes says has a net worth of $177 billion, making him the world's richest for the fourth year running.
Eight of the top 10 billionaires are from the U.S. — including Microsoft's Bill Gates (No. 4); Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg (5); Berkshire Hathaway's Warren Buffet (6); Oracle's Larry Ellison (7); and Google's Larry Page (8) and Sergey Brin (9).

Nope, not on it............................
When I was a kid and for the longest time there was only one: Howard Hughes.
I couldn’t find my name either........ LOL
Howard was a billionaire. But not the first.
John D. Rockefeller was.
So if each of these wealthy people would send me $1,000.00 USD, I would really appreciate it. ETFs to my tag line would be the best way to send it.
Now you know why it is a scamdemic.
FTA: Among the record-setting 493 new billionaires who made the list this year, at least 40 got rich from companies involved in fighting COVID-19, like Moderna’s Stéphane Bancel and BioNTech’s Uğur Şahin. Aside from these vaccine developers, others made money manufacturing personal protective equipment and COVID-19 tests, as well as developing software that helps authorities schedule vaccination campaigns, according to Forbes.
Nuts!
I missed being on that list by just 2 dollars !
Same Here!, and he lived at 10539 Bellagio in Bel Air, and when he went into incognito mode and was hiding from the world, he lived in the Hathaway Building at Van Nuys Airport, Sherman Way and Hart st. My brother lived across the street
One of the roots of most of our problems.
So those are the people who plan to decide how the rest of us will live.
In the middle of a global pandemic and economic collapse ??
they can thank massive government debt, and spending - and printed money! It will always go into the hands of the richest and most connected.
Rockefeller made his billions in oil as did J Paul Getty and HL Hunt. Hunt was the inspiration for JR Ewing of “Dallas”.
Hunt lived in my hometown when he was starting in the oil business. My mother was a nurse and was hired to care for him when he was sick. She said he was the meanest bastard she ever met.
“The list includes 2,755 billionaires”
Wow. Draining them of all net worth may add up to an entire Covid stimulus package.
A large portion of the folks that have every politician in the world in their hip pockets.
Their money insulates them, by miles and miles, from all the policies their money supports.
The sad thing is with eight of the top ten being Americans you would think a couple of them would be decent and admirable role models to others. You would think some would have their heads screwed on correctly but no. They are pretty much lying leftist dirt bags, all of them. Several are outright scum of the earth. I always thought part of the American dream was to become successful, wealthy and be a virtuous role model, etc. but most importantly, not screw it up for others. When you have lived and achieved the American dream your single most important duty to society is to simply not use your success to screw up the opportunity for others and being a leftist and supporting leftist politics does exactly the opposite. Worst of all these people know their politics is in fact is harmful to others. It’s a pretty sad fact I don’t and can’t admire any of these people.
Eggzackly. When Biden complains about how the super wealthy do not pay their fair share of taxes, he acts like he just tumbled out of the space ship like Marvin the Martian and is shocked to learn this little factoid even though he’s been in power for the last 48 years.
