Andy Ngô reacts to becoming Antifa target, leaving US: 'Not safe anymore for me'

He might be the most hated man in the room depending on where he goes, but Andy Ngô has undoubtedly amassed a tremendous following for his experience covering the ins and outs of Antifa.

The born-and-raised Portlander and second-generation Vietnamese American, a conservative journalist who serves as the editor-at-large of The Post Millenial, is now a New York Times bestselling author thanks to his recently published tome, "Unmasked: Inside Antifa’s Radical Plan to Destroy Democracy."

In "Unmasked," Ngô explores not only the history of Antifa both in and outside the United States, but also his own experiences covering what he describes as an organized community of radical, left-wing anarchists.

Opponents tried to stop the book from being published, Ngô, 33, wrote on Twitter. Even when it was released, some took issue with the book being sold in stores, according to reports. Portland's famed shop Powell's Books opted not to sell the work after union employees protested Ngô "and everything he represents," reports stated.

Over the course of years, Ngô has endured physical attacks from people in crowds while covering Antifa or radical events, and even unwanted visitors at his and his parents’ homes, Ngô wrote in his book.

But everything came to a head earlier this year when Ngô left the country amid threats of violence and "an escalation of safety concerns," he told Fox News.

"It was just not safe anymore for me. I had already been on borrowed time," he said when reached by phone.

Ngô grew to have a keen interest in Antifa following the outcome of the 2016 presidential election, he said.

Yeah, things are changing as the baby-killers dump out of Kalif and take their evil elsewhere.

He needs to get the hell out of Portland and move to the US.

Yes. He can just check election results. Any location that went overwhelmingly for Trump will be safe for him.

Also, he should contemplate this: George Zimmerman is still alive.

I know it’s wrong of me, but I hope all the major cities burn after Chauvin’s Aquital is announced.

I have a couple of friends in Idaho. They tell me it’s in danger of becoming another Colorado.

——————————————————————————————

I too have friends that have told me the same thing. Idaho has been swamped by liberals.

I was told Antifa only exists as an idea.
An idiot college buddy tried that line on me -- "how do I send money to Antifa?"

I told him, just give it to the Clintons.

He replied that's ridiculous.

Then I showed him the Clinton Foundation direct ties to direct funders of Antifa.

End of argument.

“Until AntiFa goons who act up start getting shot by those whose lives, persons and property they threaten we should expect them to move closer to the jack booted murderers they’ve always been at heart.”

One thing Conservatives are horrible at is changing the narrative. I would go after Antifa this way. Antifa means Anti First Amendment. And I would hammer that point home every chance I got. Every Sunday show a Republican goes on, they should make this claim and offer up all the proof. When leftwing commentators go after them, just keep hammering home the message. Antifa is Anti First Amendment as we can plainly see by what they did to Portland.

“It was just not safe anymore for me.”

Andrew, you’ve done a great job. Thank you. I suggest you go to Paris for one year and watch the weak opinions about you vanish.

Of course they would. Theyv’e already done it.

But then, they’re white supremacists like all the other fascist communists.

The past year has been a giant filter for law enforcement. People who didn't have the stomach for what's going on either resigned/retired or will be purged for being "domestic extremists."

Those who will be left will have no qualms Wacoing people.

And that is exactly why the police are always the enemy in this kind of situation.

I don’t blame you. BLM is taking over, and if the Dems make DC a state and pack SCOTUS, it’s over. Not to mention the hordes coming across our border.

Just saw on Facebook that an acquaintance, a venture capital guy and big Stanford alum living in the Bay Area, is pulling his whole family out of California and going to Idaho. Making no bones that he has had it with California and it can go to hell. The message is getting out there to get out of the California hellhole.
