PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) - A group of demonstrators lit a small fire around the outside of the Portland Police Association building in North Portland Saturday night.
The exterior was also tagged with anti-police sentiments.
Portland Police and fire authorities later snuffed the fire.
The “autonomous demonstration” began at Arbor Lodge Park and eventually migrated to outside the PPA building, according to Twitter posts.
PPB officials said some people are blocking traffic on North Lombard Street near North Campbell Avenue.

Of course they lit a "small fire". They all start out small. I wonder if KOIN actually thinks they're fooling people with such propaganda.
Ah, yes. Some nameless, faceless, leaderless “group” with no political agenda or ideology. A pack of lone wolves playing with matches.
Some idea did some thing.
A “Group”? Toastmasters? Amish barn raising? Little League? Girl Scouts? Church Choir? Chamber of Commerce?
We’re they all dressed alike, perchance in black?
I thought it was Billy and his chess club buddies blowing off steam after the competition heading to the soda shop for a burger and milkshake? No?
That’s the group! I forgot about the Chess Club.
