Pete Buttigieg caught unloading bike from SUV before riding to Cabinet meeting in apparent botched environmentalist photo-op

I’ve been taking the mt. bike out in the cold here. I have to say, the new hydraulic shifters don’t like the freezing temps.
NEW Run Flats: Pro Cycling’s Secret Tech | Vittoria Airliner Road First Look
After 5 minutes today I went back for my gloves.
Hang in there summer is coming!
Perfect timing! Perhaps you cyclists can provide abit of advice. Does there exist a sturdy, reasonably priced contraption — a small frame of some sort — for riding in place? Many moons ago I bought one that was mounted to the rear axle. It provided little resistance so I tired of it almost immediately. I’d be grateful for any guidance or suggestions you can provide.
I use a cycle ops trainer. It has resistance that’s adjustable. Works very well with my 21 speed road bike.
This will be a 5 day ride with music and good food.
I will have to let you know how it turns out.
What drive train you running over there?
Can I get on the list ?
Very interesting, but expensive as $180. I also see these: CushCore Bicycle Tire Inserts Set 27.5 Pair Includes 2 Bike Tubeless Valves at $149.00, and these: Tannus Armour No-Flat Bicycle Tire Insert, Puncture Proof Bike Tube Protector. Often for street kids bikes in this city I have cut out the middle of an old tire and placed it inside another one for flat protection in the second tire if it has holes in it or is thin and they do not have the $8-12 for a new one.
Very cool tech from Victoria. I’d not heard of that run flat system for bikes. At first I thought it was like the Cush-cor system for mountain bikes, but it really is an instant run flat system. Neat video. Thanks for posting.
Wow that is flat!
Check out Wahoo. Mine is the snap, It bluetooths to Zwift and raises tension and lowers it depending on the terrain you are viewing.
It’s a good channel to follow on YouTube,
You are welcome!
Sounds like great fun, hope to hear more!
