All the media screaming about 'bizarre,' which they leveled at Gaetz, now leaves them with egg all over their faces.
Seems the media's rush to judgment on the matter of Rep. Matt Gaetz, a popular conservative Florida Republican, who was smeared in the New York Times as someone in a relationship with a 17-year-old girl, might just leave them with egg all over their faces.
Again.
There's no doubt about it, the press came down hard on Gaetz, whose defense of himself on the Tucker Carlson show, following the Times hit piece, included describing an extortion plot, was broadly ridiculed as "improbable," "QAnon" and "bizarre," "bizarre," and "bizarre." Even some on the right called it "bizarre."
Sure, if he's making it up. Turns out he wasn't.
According to the National Pulse: (see in comment 1)

Agree to some extent.
I think he did catch some DOJ-types in an extortion scam, and insiders at the FBI “leaked” the story to the NYT, who will publish anything they are told to, to distract from the extortion, and blow up the investigation.
Show nudes of babes on his phone? Maybe. He did get a “talking to” about unprofessional behavior by House pub leadership a few years ago. The first story having blown up, his enemies are trying to change the narrative.
But this is the rub.
The Steele Dossier was paid for by Hillary Clinton and was full of lies. But they used it to slam Trump. Above reproach? Not Trump, I guess.
They tried to ruin Kavanaugh with lies from Blasey Ford. Above reproach? Not Kavanaugh, I guess.
Harry Reid told everyone that Mitt Romney didn't pay his taxes. It was a lie. Reid defended the lie (afterwards) by chuckling "We won, didn't we?"
Being above reproach doesn't get you very far. They make stuff up and they see how far they can take it. I guess being "perfect" will most likely keep someone out of jail -- but they can still ruin the political career of even a "perfect" person.
NOTE: I make no claim that Gaetz is perfect. I merely say that I care a great deal about the Extortion effort. And I'll start to care about the 17-year-old girl AFTER a court convicts Gaetz of the alleged crime. Not before. He's innocent until proven guilty. Republicans should consider approaching it that way. A little Due Process doesn't hurt.
Imperfect? These aren’t moving violations we’re talking about. Describing an alleged child sex trafficker as ‘imperfect’ is like describing Jeffrey Dahmer as a guy with an unsual diet.
Gaetz is from Florida’s 1st-district. It is by far and away, the most conservative district in the entire state. We have a Republican governor who will appoint a Republican replacement and when the special election is held, we’ll hold the seat easily.
Right now, he’s an anchor around the necks of Republicans. There’s a reason no one, absolutely no one, in Trump’s orbit (including Trump himself) has uttered a helpful word about Gaetz since the story broke. They know.
Who was Bob Livingston?
Who was Larry Craig?
Republicans are humans, with human flaws.
But it gets you further then if you have something to hide ! Why make it easy for the Rats. If you have done something squirrelly you've given them a handle to immediately block you (Maybe even put you jail!) or a handle to control you. Which they choose depends on their immediate agenda.
And with Stephen Alford's stink on this case you have good reason to care.
No that doesn’t matter here. If true Gatz was about as stupid as swallwell.
Wonder who Pelosi calls at the FBI to get things taken care of?.
Got to get one more seat taken.
“We have a Republican governor who will appoint a Republican replacement.”
The Governor will not appoint a Republican replacement.
That’s right, it’s a House vacancy - which must be filled by special election - not a Senate vacancy which in FL are filled by the governor. Still, this district is overwhelmingly Republican. There’s no chance the Dems pick the seat up.
The person said the footage showed Greenberg and Gaetz walking into the Tax Collector’s Lake Mary office on Primera Drive. Greenberg was seen going through baskets where driver’s licenses, turned in by residents for disposal, were stored and later went into a back room, the person said.

I don't know anything about the newspaper you quoted or the authors of the article. I absolute believe nobody who quote unknown sources.
There’s not a single on-the-record source for the Eric Swalwell story. Do you believe that? Of course you.
Pre-indictment news stories almost never include on-the-record sources particularly when they’re quoting government employees. That’s just the nature of criminal investigations and the reporting of those investigations.
“You’re a liar AND a coward.”

And, to date, you’re the only one who has lied between us and also the only one who has demonstrated how cowardly you are by making threats hiding behind your keyboard. A real brave person you are.
Most everyone knows what you are, by now. That’s why you make claims you can’t back up, because most people won’t even bother to communicate with such a character.
I looked at your postings and they are largely anti Gaetz in content.
Don’t know your reason, but I am not interested in arguing with you or anyone else.
Apparently she was also threatened, and told to go along with the lie, or she would be charged with something.
Huge story if true.
Guy who makes an argumentative statement then says he’s not interested in arguing?
OK, then.
Most of Epstien's victims are still unnamed. The victims in the Ghislain Maxwell indictment are also unnamed even though in both cases, all the victims are now adults. That's just how it works when victims are minors.
The anti-USA media want to use her to destroy a non-Democrat, irregardless what it does to her.
