Why does believing in a very old Universe make one a ‘God Hater’? Seems to me a God that works in the background for billions of years shows much more commitment than taking a week to get it all done.
“ Why does believing in a very old Universe make one a ‘God Hater’?”
Good question!
It seems that in the not too distant past many quite reputable scientists had no difficulty with both the belief in their theories and discoveries and a belief in God.
Something has changed. I think it’s the Government money.
(Also, these “scientists” are not so great.)
Seems to me a God that works in the background for billions of years shows much more commitment than taking a week to get it all done.
‘Why does believing in a very old Universe make one a ‘God Hater’?’
it doesn’t; and neither does the article even mention theology at all; but some people like being offended, and are quick to let us know...
You didn’t know that the FR has a substantial “Earth is 5,000 years old and the dinosaur bones were planted by the Devil” contingent?
Also, before there was day and night, who can say how long in human terms a God day actually was.
