It was easy to call into his show, fewer listeners than Rush. I spoke to him a couple of times. I spent a lot of time on the road during that time frame and had a series of shows I listened too. Liddy’s was one of those shows. I believe he sold a guns and babes calendar to piss off liberals. One show he mentioned how liberals were upset that the CIA was advertising jobs in the Economist magazine. I went out and bought a copy and read it monthly for a number of years. I canceled my subscription when it became just another liberal rag. RIP G-Man.

Liddy received a 25-year sentence for the break-in, which was later commuted by Jimmy Carter but I think Liddy served about 8 years.

Liddy was a political prisoner. Try to imagine a teenager caught breaking in where nothing was stolen, nothing was damaged, and no one was hurt. What would his sentence be?
