It was easy to call into his show, fewer listeners than Rush. I spoke to him a couple of times. I spent a lot of time on the road during that time frame and had a series of shows I listened too. Liddy’s was one of those shows. I believe he sold a guns and babes calendar to piss off liberals. One show he mentioned how liberals were upset that the CIA was advertising jobs in the Economist magazine. I went out and bought a copy and read it monthly for a number of years. I canceled my subscription when it became just another liberal rag. RIP G-Man.

My husband got a good job where he would ‘fix’ companies. We lived in rural Kansas for about 1 year. I couldn’t get Rush so, while driving had to hear about hog bellies or old time religion. I was thrilled to find Liddy. He was informative, quirky, very smart and FUN to listen to. RIP to a man who did not run with the herd. Oh, and the Economist used to be my fav airplane reading....That and the NYTs....both utter trash now.
