An elderly woman walking through Hells Kitchen became the latest victim of an unprovoked anti-Asian attack, in a brutal, caught-on-video assault.
A callous security guard at a luxury Manhattan building was suspended Tuesday after shutting the front door and offering no aid to a 65-year-old Asian woman kicked to the sidewalk outside and stomped in an apparent hate crime.

Why suspend him? He should be given a medal for keeping good social distance practices.
They should be fired. Why is it wrong to identify the perps as blacks? And the building workers are presumably black. Covering for their own kind? Fire them!

When the citizens and security guards are not permitted to arm themselves and are charged with crimes if they attempt to stop a criminal .... what do you expect?
They will wait for the police to arrive and handle the situation and basically not get involved.

Those building employees were not operating under fear when they shut the door and ignored the attack. He is a building security guard, he is not supposed to be afraid of acting as a guard. This was a clear case of indifference, presumably because he is black like the perp. At the very least, he could have yelled at the perp to stop the attack, and then rendered aid to the lady. Those guys are disgusting, both the perp and the workers.
There’s no law that says they have an obligation to help. What goes onion their minds is not admissible as evidence so what’s left? Suspend them for not calling the cops? Too late. tell them to stop? Payback.

I was young during the 1970s, but I remember crime then being about perversion, theft and crimes of passion. Society agreed these were bad.
Now its organized mobs (BLM riots), permanent bands of homeless, and racist crimes of black entitlement, along with all the rest. And it seems a large part of society and the NY governing class effectively support such crime as some kind of political statement.
