No it’s anti Catholicism because that bigotry emanates from both sides of the political spectrum.
There is that too and it comes from the left.
Anti-ANY-Christian faith.
Not to leave out Critical Race Theory, i.e. anti-anybody-who’s-white
I see it occasionally on here, it is true.
I grew up a Catholic, and I left that church for very personal and valid reasons, but I harbor no ill will towards the religion itself as some seem to. I know there are good clergy and laypersons in the church.
But for me, watching what has happened to the Catholic Church since John Paul II died is sad. The current Pope is an astonishing person, in a bad way. He seems not only set on destroying Catholicism, but deliberately defiling it.
I feel sadness for a lot of Catholics who must wonder how this has come to transpire.
Much as many of us Americans feel about our Republic.

I am in total agreement. Anti-Catholics come in all political and religious stripes.
Agreed. I am Jewish, and was disgusted when several Catholic Trump appointees were grilled on their "dogma," like 1960 and JFK being "beholden to the Pope" never happened. And so few Republicans lashed the Dems for it. Basically Hawley and Cruz and the rest crickets. Spineless cowards.
