God gave us this amazing and magnificent brain. I think he wants us to use it and not depend on him for carrying all our burdens and solve all our problems.
I am about to burn 81 candles, and is just flabbergasted that my brain retains vivid memories from my older sister’s wedding when I was 3 years old. And thousands of other memories in technicolor during my kindergarten, high school and college years. How amazing is our brains ability to store so much. And I remember all 3 of Newton’s laws of motion and the derived formulas from them.
I’m glad you remember what you do. But that ability is a perishable skill.
What if we were MADE to depend on Him for carrying all our burdens and solve all our problems?
It has been shown that we actually use and small fraction of our brain. Why is that? Could it have anything to do with our alienation from the One who made us?
It has been shown that there are parts of the brain that otherwise remain dormant that becomes active when praying and especially praying in tongues.
I’m more alive and alert now than I ever have been in my life.
Jesus, the very Son of God and God himself, showed us the way to a sound mind and eternal life. I don’t know how man’s measly self efforts, his sad and failed solution for the last 6000 years, can beat that.
One of these days, soon, your brain’s HDD will fill-up and off-load, and then what?

as I get older, I find I still retain some childhood memories and vivid memories of my life, but I’ll be darned if I can find my car keys half the time.
Once, I put them inside a fast-food bag after unlocking the front door so I could carry everything in. Two days later, I remembered my fish sandwich and I found the keys in the fridge in the same bag!
