Good analysis. Everyone always assumes that Joek will step aide at some point in time (pre-arranged?) and that he will be willingly do so. But what if he doesn’t want to go? What if Dr. No doesn’t feeeeel like surrendering this plum to heels-up? There can’t be any sort of quid pro quo there since Kameltoe brings nothing to the table.

In true MIHOP (Make It Happen On Purpose) fashion they have created a crisis on the border and then directed their most incompetent member to manage it. Failure - disastrous failure and colossal damage - are virtually assured. If she somehow manages to put a shine on this turd Joek can turn around and claim the credit. But the blame - and there will be plenty - will fall on her.

My theory is that Biden (or far more likely, one of his handlers) fully understand that the border is THE hot-button issue of the year and possibly his presidency. If any less well-known person was tapped, the public would forget whomever it was and simply remember 'Biden failed on the border'. Simply put, Harris is the only person in his administration that people would remember and associate with the disaster and draw heat away from the president.

It also strips commies and 'progressives' of massive power. Here's the downside -- Biden might get a case of the 'Kerry/Limbaugh Cancer (named for swiftboat defenders who died of fast-take cancer - or of Rush Limbaugh's fast-take cancer...)...

I believe I read that she won’t be but instead will work with Mexican president to get better control of it.

Let's imagine for the sake of argument that they want the border to be controlled again. They do not, but let's imagine they do as a thought experiment. If they were rational they would reinstantiate the policies put in place by Trump that were working well and which they eliinated, causing this crisis. This is the one thing they will never do. So they will be incapable of actually managing it and will fail.

But as I said, they do not want it managed, they want the flood, they only want the appearance of them doing something so the press can move on and hide it. For that, you put Kamala in front of the cameras, you say diplomacy is under way and is working and you turn off all the cameras and open the remaining gates. That's what her job will be to do.

Harris has zero executive experience; no foreign policy expertise; no knowledge of trade, tariffs, or economics; no experience with immigration except demagoguery. What could go wrong?

There seems to be a battle between Biden’s people and the more radical element. A couple of nominees got pulled by Biden in some obvious horse-trading with liberal GOP senators. Harris’ people couldn’t have been happy about that. Now the border grenade gets dropped in her clueless lap. Maybe the Obama/Soros plans are coming apart more quickly than anyone thought possible.

They are good at guerilla-politics and stealing elections. But they are sh*t at running anything.

Maybe. Biden’s brain-trust (see what I did there?) might think that Kamala is relatively bullet-proof on the border-issue that is being played as a racial-justice problem for years on end. IOW’s she’s the logical person to make an argument that Joe can’t.

I can see both sides of the argument, however. But Biden & Harris were a shotgun marriage and they don’t much like eachother, so I guess I lean toward your conclusion that Harris is being ‘sacrificed’.
