This isn't the time of year that people are thinking about swimming in New England waters, but this recent video article has some input into the upcoming summer months.-Tom

It seems the Kennedys got them trained after Mary Jo’s body was left to taunt them.

Why do they do this?
It’s where the chum is. And the pretty girls, too!

“the sharks come into very shallow water, and stay for a greater time than most people suspected.”
Apparently, they don’t have anything better to do and they’re not looking for anything deep and meaningful, just some people-watching and casual dining.

There’s just so much we can learn from sharks.
Their work on Faster Than Light travel is amazing.

Maybe it’s because there are things in the deep water that eats sharks.

The Obamas have a house up there. I recommend they spend a lot of time there and take advantage of the sparkling beauty of the ocean.

Shallow water?
We’re gonna need a smaller boat.

Didn’t they make a movie about this a while back?
To: Capt. Tom
This story is mixing 2 different sharks: Bull sharks (which tend to hunt in shallows hence a threat to beachgoers), and Great Whites (a deep water shark) Has a Great White ever come inside the surf line? Sure, but that’s not where the seal hunting is really good. Usually they’re lurking around a spot where the water gets deep rapidly and they can silhouette their target against the surface.
Swimmers probably have less to worry about from GW’s, but it I were a surfer or a kayak-er, I’d be on the lookout (as much good as that will do for you).
