Electrostatic properties of masks will vary with their construction and their materials but moisture will also affect and dampen any attracting electrostatic properties of the fibers...it’s called science...why don’t you study it?!

I have family members in the medical field including Dr. Bill Crounse. They laugh every time I bring up questions of their efficacy. They all agree that a mask provides valuable protection from the droplets carrying the C-virus.
As these droplets are lodged in the fibers (see below description) of the mask, the normal effects of evaporation take away that protective coating around the virus, until it is destroyed.
That electrostatic property of the mask is never destroyed because of their low moisture absorption and the effects of evaporation.
If John Hopkins says it is necessary to wear a masks, I believe them. Here is what they say:

None of those those questions have anything to do with masks. These are all consequences of lock downs which closed businesses adding to the other consequence of the riots, the burning of businesses and the anarchy that discouraged commerce. Those riots were also a super spreader, bringing back the pandemic with a revenge. The Dems loved this situation because it brought down the Trump economy. They knew if they could just rule for more painful lock downs, it would be the finishing blow to the economy. It was a win for them as well as a win for the Chicoms.
This situation demanded innovations that would no longer require lock downs.
I would have looked into high volume air purification systems using short-wave ultraviolet light (UV-C light) in all public places. That way, even a barber could cut hair while technology protected his patrons. I have a hand held UV wand that I can treat anything that comes into the house. I have seen huge units that purify people as they walk through an entrance. There are UV machines to treat groceries at the check-out. So why hasn’t anything been done with this technology?
The outdoor tents with interior propane heaters worked great for my son’s birthday dinner. That is an innovation that worked great on a mid winter’s night. There was no requirement for face masks.
I would have treated business like one would agriculture operators. A lock down is like telling a farmer not to grow his crop. Every business would get a subsidy that would pay for the loss of wages for business owner and every employee affected. I would include the cost of rent and utilities for the business. The banks would provide loans for the technological changes that would mitigate the contagion.

Do you know who is Dr. Bill Crounse? AS a medical practitioner he has retired as a physician and medical executive with Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. Also, I have talked to my niece who is a surgical anesthesiologist at the U of W Medical Center and my sister who is a nutritionist at St. Joseph’s Hospital. The conversation came up when I expressed concern for my brother who is an anti-masker. Because of the economy, they lived with their parents. For them, they experienced a respiratory infection that was manageable and they got over it. Not for their parents. And these kids, while they were sick, took it out to the public, where it infected more and more people. In March 27, 2020 Italy hit 921 deaths after a quick climb. Italians had the fight of their lives because of young people, not knowing how the virus uses their low symptoms, to put the population in unresponsive indifference to their actions. That went on until fatalities skyrocketed. The lock downs were severe.
The misinformation about the virus is creating the same unresponsive indifference. And the worst of it is the unaccountability.
