President Joe Biden called Tuesday for Congress to move immediately to “ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines.” It’s a start, though he’ll have to reach across party lines for real this time, since some Democrats are as anti-gun-control as the bulk of today’s GOP.
The New York Post does not see this as a conservative or liberal issue — it’s an issue of life and death. Curbing guns is what led to New York City’s three-decade reduction in murders. And, sadly, it’s the dismissal of that progress that has led to a rise in shootings here. Outside the city, the toll of semi-automatic weapons is a sad litany of cities and schools: Newtown, Parkland, Aurora, Las Vegas. It’s a national shame.
We called on President Donald Trump to act, and we’ll happily support Biden in a fight for the needed changes. Polls show most Americans want this. It’s the political establishment that is frozen.

#45. Anti-cartel task forces are in action all over America. I read their arrests/convictions notices on a regular basis and they are doing a great job despite being overwhelmed by the size of the gangs, a lack of support by the Biden Administration and its pro-any illegal can come into the current Biden US policies, and leftists in the DHS, FBI, etc.
All this is going on despite the lax Obama regime policies, now being enhanced by the Biden-Harris criminal family.
In my family, members fighting the gangs, terrorists, and traitors have been represented in the following law enforcement agencies/departments - DOJ; DHS; DOE, USAO,USA/ASA and include two combat veterans of three recent wars, one from WW 2 and one from Vietnam.
The media is not reporting most of the important Task Force successes. You would be very proud of these people if you only could read about them (go to the DOJ website and look for press releases about anti-crime task forces.

I lived in Manhattan in the year that NYorker newsies cheered when they went over 2,000 murders.
I was there and watched the local TV station hacks rooting for the death rate.
Rudy also got rid of petty street crime, including the windshield scam washers.
