“”And it doesn’t even matter whose fault it is anymore. I just want it rectified. I want it made right,” Angello says.”
Yes it does matter whose fault it is. Mistakes are made and mistakes are corrected.
If this story is true is true then it should have been rectified via a single visit back to the Starbucks. Something is not right with the story.
Not correcting an over-charge when it’s obviously an error is theft.
I’d press criminal charges against the store manager and sue the Starbucks corporation for damages to my “emotional state” or some such to the point that they hurt financially.
My guess is she is not a victim, but actually drank $5,705.70 in Starbucks. Those mochas add up.
LOL, what have you been reading lately...?
:)
Actually her first mistake was using USAA bank.
How long have you used USAA in the past?
Saw her on a local tv news.
Potential, but needs a workout regimen and low carb...
This thread is funny, in that, lots of people are critizing this woman going to Starbucks in the first place.
What does the business she went to, have to do with the fact, that they overcharged her?
Of course she could make a cup of coffee at home for a fraction of the cost of going to Starbucks. But what does that have to do with the story?
“...NEVER use a Debit Card to pay for anything, period....”
-
Beat me to it.
My debit card is only used for getting cash at my bank’s ATM.
Nothing else.
The barista says “Thank you!”.
This is why I never use a debit card for such. Such a weird charge on a credit card is easy to dispute, because the bill won’t get paid until its resolved (and I check my credit card account daily)
Is that the same outfit that constantly advertises insurance on sports broadcasts? I’m so tired of seeing that bald guy with his hail damage.
Yeah...but look at the air miles she got.
I imagine that at least 25 ambulance chasers have already contacted her and she’ll be just fine.
My Sister In Law always uses her Debit Card and she never keeps the Receipts.
She says she gets a Notification on her Phone every time she pays with her Debit Card so who needs a Receipt?
Drives me crazy.
Given the biden (harris) [0bama] economic policies, that is probably what a cup of coffee will actually cost within a couple of years.
I think you have a good point. These type of retailers also sell gift cards that you can load up.
Why is that? I use debit lots.
Unfortunately, she used a debit card which is linked to her checking account. Had she used a credit card she could have gotten it reversed right away.
Starbux is truly genius.
They took a basic commodity and somehow made it incredibly desirable AND profitable.
They built one in our small burg, and when the Hardees across the street went out of business, Starbux bought it and now runs both and they both always have a big line at the drive thru.
