Has anybody stopped watching Jeopardy since they started using guest hosts? Currently Katie (Colonic) Couric is hosting.
I believe Alex Faust said he wasn’t interested. But yes, wonderful choice.
Wouldn’t watch him on a dare

Steve Harvey would be funny, but probably inappropriate for Jeopardy. Wait, wait - I got it - DALE WATSON!!!
What about Tom Bergeron?
I watched the first two guest hosts but will not watch Couric.

Thanks. That was classic SNL.
Still watching the show but while holding my nose with Couric presiding - the woman who wanted to put Trump voters like me in reeducation camps - just too cute by half - would be my last choice for permanent host......
Jeopardy, I’ve got two words for you — Mike Rowe.
This is going on until taping ends in May; other hosts are Anderson Cooper (gag), Bill Whitaker from 60 Minutes, and a few others. A family member is a producer and has told me that Couric is getting lousy reviews. He is hoping the producer or Jennings gets the full time job.
But somebody will have to try it.
People thought Art Fleming couldn’t be replaced.
Ken was surprisingly good. Mike wasn’t bad either. I’d be OK with either of them as the new host.
Katie doesn’t hve the right kind of personality for a game show host.
Great idea!
Mike Richards does have some experience as a game show host.

Watched a bit with Ken Jennings. Not a chance with Couric. She’s revolting
Art Fleming died in 1995.
Even in his present condition, he'd be better than Couric.

I have been hoping they’d get an actor who isn’t quite star material. Alex was just such an actor. At some point he must have decided he could be more successful as a host, as Drew Carey did. I saw Alex on a Canadian show called “Witness to Yesterday” back in the late 70’s in which a modern interviewer would interview people from history. Alex played Mark Twain, and IMO gave Hal Holbrook a run for his money in the role. He was really a good actor but just didn’t get the big acting break. that’s the kind of person they need, IMO.
Steve Allen did something similar here. I’ve forgotten the name of it at the moment, but he would interview a panel of three “historical figures” (played by actors) whom he thought would be interesting together.
I believe that I read Alex was a friend of Art Fleming’s, and Art recommended him.
