Are you referring to the on screen keyboard? If so, there is a key at the lower right of the keyboard that will cause it to minimize. To bring it back, place the cursor in a text box. If you are already in a text box, there will be a menu bar at the bottom of the screen with the keyboard icon on the far right that will return the keyboard.
