A massive walrus was spotted on the shore of western Ireland on Sunday — the first confirmed sighting of the tusked creature in the country, a report said.
The marine mammal was discovered on the rocks along Valentia Island in Kerry, witnesses told the Irish Independent.

Marine biologist Kevin Flannery, the director of a local aquarium, told the outlet that Sunday’s discovery, “is the first confirmed sighting of a walrus” in Ireland.

You shouldn’t be talking about Hillary like that.
Koo-koo-ka-choo!
Snakes were also seen once again shortly after legalizing abortion.
But the Walrus was Paul and he’s English.
Another lost, drunken tourist staggering around Ireland for St Patrick’s Day.
That joke my FRiend made me laugh.
When I was in the Cub Scouts I was in a "Walrus and the Carpenter" skit. I was the carpenter and memorized my lines but the boy who played the walrus failed to learn his so it didn't go very well. I was then able to use my carpenter costume for the next Halloween (but no one had any idea what the costume was supposed to be).
Nice! I hope you didn’t have to eat oysters for the role. I can’t see kids enjoying that too much.
You walrus hurt the one you love.
No, I’m pretty sure we didn’t have to eat any oysters. I probably ate them for the first time in New Orleans many years later (unless I had some earlier when I was in Greece—ate several kinds of exotic seafood there).
It isnt just the sunspot activity that determines this. Although that is thee major determination, there are other factors that come into play. For example. In 535, or so, there was one or two major volcanic eruptions that sent the earth into a major cool down.
There has been minimums that did result in cooling, they did not result in extra major upheavals in the weather. But add into that the fact that the earths oceans are starting to cool down, that is the major factor in massive climate upheaval.
But, like you stated, the solar cycles play a important part. Let a VEI 6 or 7 volcanic eruption happen and then...
About like Pinatubo did in the early 90s.
BTW the Iceland Volcano Laki erupted in the late 1600s? And although it was no more than a VEI 4, it went on for months and months and the result was so much gas in the atmosphere that it disrupted weather for years. Killed a hell of a lot of people.
They likely couldn’t fabricate materials that would last.
Cool!! Huge, but cool!
John Bolton sighting?
I hate it when that happens. My wife would not be surprised, however.
JK, I'm moving south. Nice to find someone else that has seen the data.
Gotta go shovel snow now (really).
Classic!
