WASHINGTON, March 7, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC), a group of highly published, world-renowned critical care physicians and scholars, is troubled by the recently updated consumer guidance on Ivermectin from the FDA. The guidance from the FDA is misleading and has the potential to raise unwarranted concern over an important drug in the prevention and treatment of COVID-19.
We support the FDA's direction that humans should never take medication formulations meant for animals. We also agree that self-dosing of medications without the guidance of a physician is potentially dangerous and could cause serious harm.
However, the FLCCC feels that other statements recently made by the FDA are misleading and serve to alarm the public about using Ivermectin as a treatment prescribed by a physician.
The FDA consumer guidance statement admits that they have not reviewed data on the use of Ivermectin to treat or to prevent COVID-19. However, the agency felt compelled to use language to discourage any discourse and interest in using Ivermectin as a front-line treatment of COVID-19. To do this is to ignore the growing body of scientific evidence from peer-reviewed research, over 40 medical trials, and results from Ivermectin's use in medical settings worldwide, showing the safe and effective use of the drug in fighting COVID-19. According to the American Medical Association Journal of Ethics, 10-20% of all prescriptions in the U.S. are prescribed 'off-label." [Source available here] Ivermectin is often one of many drugs prescribed by a physician for a number of conditions it is known to be effective for, but might not have gone through FDA approval. It is therefore misleading to suggest that because a drug has not received FDA approval for COVID it should not be used. FDA approval would only come many months to years from now after a very large Phase III trial is done and our patients cannot wait for that.

They will never approve an existing, cheap, safe, effective drug to treat covid. Because if they do, no more Emergency Use Authorizations for vaccines. They can only issue those if no other “approved” treatments have been approved. With the EUA, the vaccine7 don have to comple Phase III—long term—trials. So we have vaccines, not rested for long term effects, at about $100 per shot, unlimited payments from Uncle Sugar. Forever and ever.

I do not know why MDs waste time waiting for bureaucrats to approve medicine with this kind of safety record. Anything to push the vax, even if it means more dead bodies, I suppose.
The good thing is that even if the various pharmacy boards try to restrict its sale, as they did with HCQ here in TX (and other places), there are other legal ways to get it. In the meantime, the various natural protocols using vitamins A, Bcomplex, C and D3, plus zinc, magnesium, iodine, probiotics, nebulizer therapies, melatonin are all available over the counter!

Doctors are not free to practice as they prefer. They could, but they’ll pay dearly for it.
Add green tea extract and Quercetin with that zinc and you have something more effective - they, like HCQ, are zinc ionophores. Zinc is the Bullet, the ionophores are the gun.
I am also from Texas, but had to go to Mexico in December...and picked up 40 HCQ tabs for $90. They sit in my medicine cabinet, waiting for one of us to get the Chynah virus.

The FDA doesn’t have that power over State-licensed physicians. Neither does NIH nor CDC. The FTC has threatened physicians for advertising natural cv19 therapies (like Dr Brownstein), but off label use is common and IIRC permitted under medical codes of ethics esp when the patients life is at risk and nothing else is working.
Now State medical licensing boards are another matter. Of course Pharma hates MDs who do stuff naturally or with cheap repurposed drugs. MDs who advertise as wellness MDs don’t offer “cures” anyway. They offer health and wellness and immune support, which means their patients don’t get sick very often if they follow protocols. The repurposed drugs would just be supportive of the wellness protocols.

Maybe I see things different than most, because I see this as an act of MAJOR FRAUD by the FDA, and everyone involved in the bogus report. They NEVER reviewed any Evidence?? They Belong in PRISON”
What’s even more disturbing is, why haven’t they looked at the data? Are they not trying to find a solution?

I’ve been pushing Ivermectin here for at least a couple months at this point.
IANAD or public health professional, but my understanding is that technically, the vaccines are not “approved”, but rather have “emergency use authorizations.” These EUAs could only be granted if there were no available effective therapeutics. So the FedGov public health establishment had to refuse to recognize the efficacy of HCQ and Ivermectin-based therapies in order to be able to grant those EUAs. By doing this, they greatly increased the death and suffering due to Covid.
If we had a public health edifice that was worth anything, front line health care workers and public-facing store employees would be on Covid prophylaxis. The Federal public health agencies (FDA/NIH/CDC) have seemingly completely ignored cheap effective re-purposed therapeutics that could have significantly reduced deaths and transmission.

I’ve heard they’re reconsidering their criticism of Ivermectin, now that the people who are most at risk have been vaccinated, or at least had the chance to he vaccinated.
