Salt is critical for survival and cannot be found but a few places.
I have always maintained that people are making a real tactical error in leaving it out of their prep supplies. It’s rarely on anyone’s list.
I save used glass spaghetti sauce jars and wash and dry them very thoroughly.
Then I use them for salt because the lid has a built in gasket to keep it hermetically sealed so it doesn’t cake up. And salt lasts forever.
And it’s cheap.
We buy a lb. of salt every time we go to the store. It doesn’t go bad and ya gotta have salt. Often a box of baking soda too. Just keep stacking them up.
