There was no audio or video recordings you could file FOIA request for?
I’m just guessing in the dark here but maybe she went “off the record”; or maybe the judge waved the court reporter off with a hand gesture during the tirade?
This is why you always make your own recording of court hearings and trials or have have someone else do it.
You have the proof that they did.
This kind of crap should allow for atorneys in cort to personally record the proceedings.
So... you asked for a transcript and it doesn’t match your memory?
It is shit like this is why you always record all your phone calls with public officials. They lie about what is said, and get really pissed off when you play the recording.
This is a good example why you should not go drunk to court.
I have found that it is rare to receive more Justice from the Legal System than one can afford to purchase.
You should be able to walk in the Clerk of Court’s office, sit down at a computer and print out the court minutes.
Yes! Transcripts are altered. When I finally realized what was going on in my case, I brought in a video court reporter for the depositions. The state begged my attorney not to use them. I insisted. The state settled fairly quickly after that. I would bet that this happens more often than not.
THE most powerful and dangerous agent of the judicial system is the
Court * reporter*.
If they don’t type it
It wasn’t said.
There is no one looking over their shoulder .
Never cross them or anyone connected to them in anyway anywhere or anytime.
I’ve been buggered by one , good luck.
You need to talk to an attorney licensed in that state. In some states, opening and closing statements are not required to be taken down in felony cases, although they may sometimes be. From your description, your state may be one of those, in which case you would likely be out of luck.
If your criminal attorney won’t answer your question as to what would have been taken down in that matter, you might need to retain other experienced counsel to advise you. Again, I would recommend that you consult an experienced criminal defense attorney in your jurisdiction.
Also, how was it taken down? Stenotype, Stenomask, Realtime, Digital? There may or may not be an audio recording depending on how the court reporter worked. (And, in some civil matters in some courts, an audio tape might be all that is available.
It is quite possible that, if you went on tirade, it was stricken from the record by the order of the judge.
File an affidavit with the court stating that the transcript is inaccurate or incomplete. Attach your contemporary notes and then state under penalty of perjury what the testimony or statements should have read.
At least this puts the issue before the court.
Oh, strike that. On re-reading it may be that the ATTORNEY’S tirade was striken.
Sounds like the FBI process...their ‘version’ of a discussion is treated as official.
So, yes, ALWAYS RECORD, if you feel the need to talk at all.
My experience is that courts are political animals that are as corrupt as the day is long. And I believe things are about to get worse.
Transcriptions are often inaccurate, sometimes abbreviated. I know they are suppose to be verbatim but they often are not. Been there reviewing deposition transcripts and dictated documents. Just a fact of life. I’m sure the lawyer knows this but won’t want to go out of his way. Most of them don’t.
All court proceedings are electronically recorded, for there to be a transcript made, or in this case, to correct a discrepency in the record. These recordings are retained for many years, and should be readily available. I think you should first, ask for a copy of the audio recording from the clerk. If they’re not available, ask why not. It is very likely the guy had the recordings, and transcript, altered. Such is the corruption in our courts these days.
But, I’d also file a written complaint with the Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, Criminal Section, whom may, or may not, have the FBI investigate. Write a detailed letter, to the DOJ, as listed above, and cc your local FBI office, the Court Clerk, and your local US Attorney, toss in the judge who presided, and of course, the perp in question. If nothing else, he will have some sleepless nights, as will anyone whom is connected to this fraud.
There is actually a pretty big hidden conspiracy in American society. Big enough I think a few Freepers are members, which si why you are getting flippant remarks about something that is pretty friggen serious.
As best I can tell, CIA runs a massive network of surveillance people in the US. I assume they claim they are for foreign use, but need to run operations in the US, on their community for training. This likely goes back to before the 50’s, probably begun by a private sector predecessor of the CIA which is not in the history books.
As the years passed, surveillance people married non-surveillance people and brought them in, they had kids who were put in the network, and CIA would selectively import assets who were useful and loyal overseas, and bring them into the network. After decades, it is now likely over the 4-6% of the population Operation TIPS proposed turning into a Stasi-like surveillance force.
As it grew, it morphed into a full on intel op devoted to taking over US society for the CIA (or rather for who was above CIA), and these assets were directed into positions of authority where they could exert influence, while the network continued to run surveillance on their neighbors and community members for the operation.
We see it in politicians, who are obviously owned by something. Epstein was one of many honeypot operations it runs. But it is also local, in the community, from judges, to court clerks, to an influential political operative. It has agents all through the election machinery, as well as the courts, the FBI, and any organization which could have overturned the fraud. It even extends into street gangs and mobsters, and there are low level drug addicts who are criminals.
My guess is that Court Reporter is in the network, you are not, and you pissed someone off enough the network had it in for you.
