Let the armchair theories begin…
Cars and water: they don’t mix well, especially when there’s a high quantity of H2O. Perhaps that’s why so many people, including us, find it fascinating when an old car is found submerged in a body of water. There’s an inherent mystery around how the vehicle ended up there and why. That’s certainly the case with two cars accidentally discovered by a fisherman in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The unnamed fisherman was in his boat on Lake Wheeler on a Sunday, likely enjoying the nice weather and hoping to catch something worthy of telling a tale or two about. Using his fishfinder sonar, he spotted something completely unexpected: a car. That’s when he dialed 911 to alert authorities.

A second car was nearby. Authorities say it looks like both have been in the water for quite some time. The divers searched for occupants in both cars and came up empty. They were also unsuccessful in locating any tags for a quick identification of the vehicles.

It was great! Until I read “no Joe Biden news”.
Too much Harry/Markle junk!!
Luca Brasi was unavailable for comment.
Does Tiger Woods have a house in the area?
LOL!
I can’t handle the overload on Markle. Months ago when Biden said he would choose a ‘black female’ I made a comment that Markle was a US citizen.
An actual hitman and enforcer in the mob. Hoped to make the switch to acting.
57, 58 Plymouth? Could be a Chevy too. Probably stolen. Back then people left their keys in the ignition.
There was a story like this many years back. In that story both cars had occupants. Two similar accidents roughly a year apart and then not found until long after the second accident.
Norman Bates???
Back in the old days (maybe now too), people used to go joy riding on frozen lakes?
“Adventures with purpose” is a team of divers (on youtube) who deliberately search for missing people last seen driving a vehicle near bodies of water. To date, they’ve found 3 or 4 people dead in submerged cars.
A frozen lake in Raleigh?
Didn’t know Ted Kennedy spent much time in NC...
I’ve watched several of their videos and they do bring closure to a family who have lost a loved one.
Lately though, it seems they’ve fallen victim to the “it’s about me” syndrome. I’ve caught a couple of their live feeds where they had memorials for the victims and it seemed they were front and center and the focus of attention rather than the family of the victim.
Could be I’m just being overly critical, but I wonder if the YouTube monetization has changed their thinking in any way?
Or any remaining Kennedys...
As there were no women found in either car, I think we can rule out any Kennedy involvement.
Probably! Some people let the attention go to their heads. They ask for donations to fund their searches and spend most of their time driving around the country. I wonder how they survive financially, unless they’re trust fund babies.
Well, almost frozen evidently.
