The handwritten A4 notes appeared around Alexandra Park and streets in Glodwick Bizarre posters calling out a 'cheating husband' have been pinned on trees, lampposts and cars in Oldham.
The handwritten A4 notes appeared across Glodwick and Alexandra Park on Saturday morning.
"CHEATER ALERT", says one poster threatening to out the 'unfaithful husband'.
The author named a street in Oldham followed by 'find out soon.'
Another poster, naming the same street, states: "Do you cheat on your wife?
"Soon to be reveled (sic). Are you the ******* Street serial cheat?"
Another poster reveals some of the letters of the accused's name, while one stuck to a bench asks: "Do you know where your husband is tonight? Last night? Last week?"
Pictures of the posters have been widely shared on social media.
It's not clear who is behind the campaign or when the so-called cheater will be revealed.

Heh. I posted yesterday about tribal cultures (Dr. Seuss). I was in Irian Jaya and one of our workers’ wife was caught with another man.
The other man had to give our worker two pigs, and our worker was allowed to put up 99 signs around the village and on the trails with a photo of the guy and saying that he was a cheater!
I got 99 signs and... never mind.
If the wife cheated why are they punishing the husband? I can see the pigs, but putting up the signs is only hurting the husband by promoting his shame? Why don’t they just make him wear a green hat?
What is wrong with people today?
If I were having marital problems, I wouldn’t be making signs to broadcast it.
Blurred out address? Why?
It was signs saying the other man was the cheater.
I’m not sure why the wife wasn’t blamed. I’m guessing our worker still wanted to have her make sammiches for him. Seriously though. I’m guessing that they view their women as very subservient to the husband. Perhaps even like property??? Some guy steals your property, you get the property back plus a couple of pigs.

Sure seems like someone with mental/emotional issues.
Funny how those that commit adultery with married men get so “righteous” when they discover it wasn’t gonna be permanent.
Plenty of nuts men too but, “A woman scorned” comes to mind.

And for the record, I’m OK with whoever is outing the cheater. I like public humiliation therapy.
Sounds like a third party. “Do you know where your husband was last night” was one sign.
Yeah... sounds like the one he cheated with found out he was married... not divorced or widowed, like he told her...
