Bought potting soil to start my seeds indoors. Bought two kinds and will experiment.

Also bought Spring Water at Dollar Tree...Gal $1. My tap water has too much salt and the PH is 8-9.

Spring gets my heart a pumpin'.

I started forty-one pepper plants, yesterday. Some will be going to others, though I will have a good 24 for myself. This is the year I restock the pantry, as home-canned things are dwindling!

Tomatoes in two weeks, then everything else. :)

Use turkey size cooking bags to kill off the critters living in your new dirt. 350 or 375 for an hour does the trick...

I think This year I’m going to try a Fox product. Already has mycorhiza in it. I also use something to prevent Damping off.

I generally start things like tomatoes and peppers in wet paper towels in baggies. It gives them a head start I can “proof” the seeds and see if they are viable!

I know what you mean about spring; I start to feel alive again!

(Say Bonjour to Messr. Chouteau! :)
