Fox Renews The Simpsons for 2 More Years, Through Season 34 in 2023

Fox ordered two more seasons of The Simpsons, locking in the animated series through the end of Season 34 in 2023 and bringing its run to a total of 757 episodes. The network announced the renewal today during the Television Critics Association’s virtual winter press tour.

I remember watching The Simpsons around 1997 thinking "How can this show be this good after all these years? How much longer can it possibly be this good?".

The answer turned out to be about 2 more years.

Around 2002. Then it jumped the shark.

Well, the comic goes all the way back to college newspapers in the 80s. It was called “Life in Hell.”

I had a friend who was a big animation and Simpson’s fan and she told me it was coming. It was probably in 1989 or 1990.

I have watched a few episodes over the years. I never really cared enough to make a habit of it.

King of the Hill was my cup of tea. I miss Hank Hill.
