TUSKEGEE, Ala.—Black residents of this Southern town say the pain and distrust fomented by a decadeslong syphilis study here are inseparable from their personal deliberations over whether to take a Covid-19 vaccine.
Beginning in the 1930s, federal officials enrolled hundreds of Black men in Tuskegee in an experiment to examine the effects of untreated syphilis. The men were told they were being treated for “bad blood,” according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In fact, the infected were left to suffer and die from syphilis, decades after treatment existed.

Sorry if you are distrustful over something that happened 90 years ago to a specific set of people and think that concern applies to a vaccine that 100 million have taken so far it is an excuse. If you don’t want to take the vaccine just say so. Just more victim role playing

I do not know the numbers, but my own wellness MD is well aware that there is risk inherent in going up against Pharma.
The wellness FNP who treated me for serious illness some time ago committed suicide. I believe it was suicide, but the events which led up to her taking her own life looked very strange to me. I miss her - besides having a great personality, she was brilliant and had a really interesting family background.
In Oregon, the White Democrat governor wants to vaccinate Blacks and Native Americans first......... Sounds like she wants to sit back and watch what happens to them first before the Whites get it.....

The average black person is far more questioning. Bravo to them. The conspiracy against the black family is decades old, and supported by both black and white liberals. Education, health, dependence. Many of the black Christians I know are aware of this.

It will be blamed in Christians and conservatives, which is an additional reason we should do all that we can to warn the People about the risks. Regardless if their politics.

If you give the vaccine to blacks you are racist for experimenting on them, jsut like Tuskeegee.

I was listening to a local white politician that said they should focus on vaccinating the “underserved” and “communities of color”.
Yep, if I were black, I would be telling the liberals to go first.
Works for me.
I had a 6 week wait, switched my location to the ‘hood and was in 3 days later.
Health Dept peeps told me black and hispanic people aren’t signing up.
I told some relatives in a neighboring state to you about what you did. They will be trying your plan in their state.
