Truly the good old days. The women were smiling and happy, not the bitter, angry hags they are these days.

I have to say, seeing the name “Wilbur Mills” brought immediate recognition and...I admit, a smile to my face.

Wilbur Mills was too far ahead of his time. Now, a Democrat like him would be fully protected.

As we have seen (Eric Swalwell) you can sleep with Communist spies and be allowed to retain your position on intelligence committees.

Astonishing. I had to re-read what I just wrote, and confess that, as absurd as that is, it is true.

As for Fanne Foxe, she was who she was. Far more honest than the politician who made her famous.

You beat me to it. When I posted, I really did have to pause and read what I wrote about sleeping with Communist spies and retaining your position on intelligence committees.

Really.

Astonishing.

they ended up in the tidel pool around the Jefferson Memorial.
Possibility that liquor may have been involved.
Was not great for Wilbur Mills rep.
Great fun in every news paper at the time.

If there was a horse involved, “exotic dancer” doesn’t cover it.

Sounds like she had an interesting (and somewhat productive) post-scandal career.

Two masters degrees, MBA and MS in Marine Science.

> I always thought Elizabeth Ray was the hotter one.

Yeah, she was built like a brick chithouse, for sure.

Some pics (Getty, so just a link to the Getty page). The ones sitting on the Rolls are priceless.

“”The power of the office of Congressman is very alluring. It (marriage to John Jenrette) was like being married to a rock star. Women saw me with him and still approached him and handed them the keys to their hotel rooms and their addresses and phone numbers. I was a young model for Clarol. That didn’t deter women as old as my mother from pursuing him.” Recalling her years as a Congressional wife, 1982.”

Still working on finding a good pic....

I'd settle for Christine Keeler. The young version.
