A woman turned in her ex-boyfriend to the FBI after he took a break during the Jan. 6 Capitol riot to berate her in a text message, authorities said.
According to an affidavit by FBI Special Agent Christopher Dillon, Richard Michetti's one-time girlfriend gave authorities a series of texts that led to his arrest, including a 4:26 p.m. missive that read, "If you can't see the election was stolen, you're a moron."
The Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, man appeared in federal court in Philadelphia on Tuesday and was placed under house arrest until trial.

“Sir, we understand that you exercised your right to freely assemble?”
“Ummm. Yeah.”
“We also believe that you exercised your right to free speech, both in the capitol at a political rally, and also with an ex-girlfriend. Is this true, sir?”
“Yeah.”
“Well, you’re looking at some hard time, buddy. 10 to 20 in the slammer, would be my guess, but we’ll let the judge make the final determination.”
“placed under house arrest until trial.”
Trial for what?
Saying the election was stolen?
TTIUWOP
Just sayin’
How did the ex-girlfriend know he went into the Capitol building and wasn’t just one of the hundreds of thousands of people in the crowd who didn’t go in the building?
“A man who picked up a publicly listed phone number for Michetti initially identified himself as the suspect, asked for money to pay legal fees and said, “I think what’s being done is horrible.”
The Feds may not convict him, but his legal bills will destroy him.
“How did the ex-girlfriend know he went into the Capitol...?”
“Court documents show several pictures of Michetti in a Chicago White Sox baseball cap, inside the U.S. Capitol...”
When it’s over for one, it’s over for two. Don’t communicate with ex-girlfriends, it almost always leads to trouble. Wish her well and walk away, it didn’t work out, yes there were good times, even great times, but that was yesterday, your future lies before you, not behind.
And this kids, is why females are not allowed in the mafia.
Yep, moron brains at work.
Obviously the woman couldn’t handle the truth.
He will probably be convicted of misdemeanor trespassing and sentenced to a year in prison and a $1 million dollar fine.

I would like to know who opened what appeared to be fire exit or at least seldom used doors where the loud alarm was going off. They did not appear to be broken. They probably need to be opened from the inside. There are cameras everywhere in the Capitol. So who opened those doors? I’ve seen many videos of people walking in but not the exact moment when the doors were opened.
I think the moral of this story is not to call your wife or girlfriend a moron.
I did see a video of an elected democrat - a congressman, I believe - opening a one-way exit door and holding it for a waiting group of black garbed, black backpacked “civilians” to enter. He then walked around to another door and re-entered the building.
Sorry, I can’t remember where, but I think it was twitter, which means it’s probably long removed.
The Capitol police and Nancy Pelosi probably have the tapes.
“He will probably be convicted of misdemeanor trespassing and sentenced to a year in prison and a $1 million dollar fine.”
Exactly.
Such a railroad.
just wow! Maybe the massive shut downs by Twitter were to delete things like this.
Trump supporters who brought things like pepper spray may have been responding to threats from groups like AntiFA or “Shut Down DC” , especially as they were leaving the mall near dark.
I have not heard a single Republican politician or right leaning commentator mention that President Trump is the biggest loser in having the meetings of the house and senate disrupted. Evidence of voter irregularities was about to be brought forth to the public and read into the Congressional record. Now they are on record nowhere. PDJT is the last person who would have wanted an incursion into the Capitol.
