Authorities seem to be taking the exact opposite approach that they take when leftists riot. When leftists riot, few are arrested, charges are dropped against most who are arrested, and most who are convicted get relatively light sentences, often involving no jail time. For example, NONE of the more than 200 people arrested for rioting in DC during Trump's inauguration were ever convicted, and no one saw a single day of jail time. Most simply had the charges dropped; the few who went to trial were acquitted by friendly DC juries.

But with the January 6th DC riot, they are spending weeks analyzing film to identify as many people as possible, and bringing charges against anyone who was even in the building, including many who may have been let in by DC police after the actual rioting was over.

I would like to know who opened what appeared to be fire exit or at least seldom used doors where the loud alarm was going off. They did not appear to be broken. They probably need to be opened from the inside. There are cameras everywhere in the Capitol. So who opened those doors? I’ve seen many videos of people walking in but not the exact moment when the doors were opened.
