Finnish scientists claim to have found another coronavirus variant which shares some of the same mutations as other troublesome strains.
Only one case of the virus — temporarily named Fin-796H — has been spotted so far but experts have admitted they are unsure how widespread it is.
Finland said was unlikely the variant emerged there, given the country's low infection rate. The Scandinavian nation has recorded just 51,000 cases and 700 deaths since the pandemic took off.
Finnish researchers who made the discovery said the variant shared some mutations seen in the Kent and South African strains but in a combination they called 'unique'.
They did not reveal what the mutations were but they aren't thought to be changes which make those strains any more infectious or immune-resistant.
British scientists today insisted the emergence of the strain was no reason to panic. Dr Simon Clarke, an infectious disease researcher at the University of Reading, told MailOnline: 'There's no evidence there's anything to worry about yet.'
It comes as surge testing for the South African B.1.351 variant — which makes jabs slightly less effective — was rolled out to yet more postcodes, as ministers seek to stop the strain becoming established on British soil. Health bosses announced door-to-door testing will be rolled out in Leeds.
Public Health England (PHE) today revealed they had spotted another 18 cases of the mutant strain, taking the total number of cases seen in Britain to 235.
No10's top scientific advisers still insist the current crop of jabs should prevent severe illness and deaths against all new strains currently circulating, even if they don't stop people falling ill.
As long as vaccines serve their main purpose of taking pressure off the NHS, Britain should finally be able to safely ease its way out

I read an article - the research was eventually published - where they found more than 20 variations of the virus in a single person. At first they thought he was a ‘long hauler’ but each time he’d recover enough to leave the hospital, a few weeks later he’d come back in with raging symptoms. After several round trips to the ICU researchers decided to deep dive into his blood and found the many mutations present.
This man had a compromised immune system, so there is that. And ultimately he succumbed to CV19. The virus will continue to mutate to survive, at least until it kills off its host.

Oh no, instead of being 99.6% survivable, thr new strains “are only” 99.573% surviv a ble (I have no idea what %, just showing that it’s still almost enitrely survivable by nearly everyone, especially when they get the vaccine which supposed.y prevents severe covid nearly 100% in the remaining vulnerable e rwble populations I guess?)

I don’t know and am thoroughly disgusted by the administrative state (NIH, CDC, FDA) at their intentional disruption of research into treatments all sacrificed on the altar of mNRA platform research. Along with their failure to stock necessary PPE and other ineptitudes.
I have no idea if it will help me - so far I think I’ve avoided this plaque (tested 3 times, required to not out of choice) but I’ve been taking medications and supplements for years and recently added Zinc and Quercertin to the mix.
I’m taking the ivermectin twice a month. Plus zinc and a few other vitamins, but the zinc is what helps with the covid and other viruses, flush etc, so I take that daily.
No vaccine yet. Not even available to me if I did want it, under 65. So I’ve been on the ivermectine for about 2 months now
And another, and another, and another. It just keeps going on and on like a broken record. What they used to steal an election has caused the masses to pseudo rebel which means the Scamdenic must be bolstered to keep the peons in check. If everybody would just take a solid stance against the face diapers, closing of businesses and most of all our freedoms this would fold faster than an umbrella being used as a parachute.
Glad you found what you needed. I know it can be obtained. I am no expert but from what I read, people need the Ivermectin, or the HCQ, to help transport the zinc into the cells where it then blocks the receptors to which the virus binds. Since I don’t have either of the medications, for now I will take the Quercetin.
Though I first read about Ivermectin as a “one and done” treatment. One pill for most people early in the disease cycle seems to be all that is required. There is a video in the website below about a man who was at the end stage of disease, about to be put on ventilator at a facility where nobody on ventilator had ever survived - they gave him Ivermectin once, and he started to improve. They gave him another dose 3 or 4 days later and he made a full recovery.

Not sure I would characterize that as effective. Maybe partially effective.
You’re misunderstanding the impact of that. These are RELATIVE reductions. If you have 100 times the antibodies necessary to stop the infection, and you lose half of that, you still have 50 times the antibodies necessary to stop the infection.

Don’t buy into the fearmongering of the press. Go to the studies being done for some truth. The truth is that the vaccines authorized for use in the United States today provide protection against all known variants of SARS-CoV-2.
