Socialism has failed everywhere it has been attempted because it takes power away from the people and gives government control over every aspect of your life.
This past year we have seen the left trying to sell these destructive ideas as “fashionable”.
They support 70% tax rates, elimination of private health insurance, “Free College,” and end to cars and industries that run on non-renewable energy and trillions more in new spending
As U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, I witnessed failed socialist regimes firsthand from places like Venezuela and Cuba.
Americans rejected socialism on Election Day. Because they know socialism doesn’t work.
Yet, we have seen several politicians (Nancy Pelosi, Bernie Sanders, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to name a few) exploit the COVID-19 pandemic to advance their far left agenda, most troublingly, “Medicare for All”—which is simply socialized medicine under a different name.
