Mostly RAT areas there.

You know what’s good, leave out a package of cream cheese to soften, put on a plate and pour bottle of salsa over it. Eat with chips.

I Lo-o-o-o-ve nachos. Believe I may celebrate tomorrow by having some.
We keep cooked, seasoned meat and salsa on hand just so we can make spur-of-the minute burritos, tacos or nachos. Have two kinds of salsa as well as pico de gallo.
We do miss living close to good Mexican restaurants. Can you tell?
as an FYI...the panhandle(26 counties) didn’t lose power...so I’m guessing they may be out re: relief...
Yup, that pretty much described me! Even at work. They finally had to make me task lists to stick to, I would be doing task A and find an issue, follow that and find another issue, and on down the rabbit trail I go and totally forget about task A! Kinda makes me wonder if I’m ADD (grew up before that was a ‘thing’).
So now, if I find an issue, I have to tell the manager and it gets added to my list. Can’t touch it again until I get to it on the list. Annoys me because I think ‘it won’t take me but a few minutes/hours/days to fix this’ but it’s the only way to keep me ‘on task’. LOL
He just had his 5th back surgery about 30 days ago...he talked about it over the weekend...and seemed to be in pain. He’s already had 5 surgeries on his left knee.
Good Grief.
God gives us the strength to do His will...sometimes he pushes the limit?

It sounds like you’re making the best of it. Must be hard with no Mexican restaurants close.
You can cut out the middle man & just suck a lime wedge, down a shot of tequila & then lick some salt.
Then you can kick it up another notch by licking the salt off of various body parts of the opposite se, but I don't have time to elaborate during a busy tax season..

Don’t know if you’ve ever watched the Cream Heroes or Kittisaurus channels on YouTube; this South Korean lady has 10 (did have 7) cats and she makes all sorts of videos of them....playing, fighting, eating, her giving them a bath, clipping their nails, taking them to vet (several have health issues). This is the one I just watched (NOTE: she’s cooking FOR the cats so cat breath getting on the food won’t hurt anything). You can set it where it has English subtitles.

I was given a bottle of Mezcal as a gift. From then on, I tasted it a time or two over the years.
Worse tasting stuff I ever drank. There were two shots left and it was me and my sister.
She poured me the shot with the worm in it and I got so excited, I spilled the shot on the floor, then stepped on the worm.
I like asadero cheese for Mexican. Cheddar ok.
I like to make my own chips too. But restaurant style in the bag is easier.
HEBs sea salt tortilla chips are. the. best!
We used to like restaurant chips the best....not anymore.
They make nachos even that much better.

I'm fine but so disgusted all our efforts in spreading the word out is monitored now and limited to who or how many to join a group of support!
In college, we had a double-sided punch dispenser. The kind you used to see in Woolworths that pumped the punch to the top & then it streamed down the inside of the clear container. And you put your glass underneath to fill up.
We would go to Tijuana quite a few times & each of us would bring back our limit of Mezcal to make margaritas for the punch machine.
We usually had margaritas on one side & some rum concoction on the other.
Have you been to the same parties I’ve been to? That method doesn’t give me heartburn. But in my younger years I didn’t have to worry about heartburn.
